Thanks Jacqui! The item starts at 2:05:50. It's very funny, people telling in what way they are connected to James. Let's see if I can do that: - I visited London last year and James lives there.
- James' girlfriend wrote a positive review about a dance company I went to see last month.

I'm no better..... - I too go to London - but quite frequently
- Mr Crumbs has the same shirt
- I might have driven past him - we-ell it was a Boxster driven by a bloke with v similar hair with a blonde in the passenger seat....
A - ha! Just thought of another! And this is quite good! My friend's son does first aiding for TG - he's signed the disclaimer about the Stig's identity even! Blimey - never said this on here. He also told his Mum J, J and R are really good blokes!
But that's it

Ah well, it's a bit tricky....my friend lives a long way off and she's v unhappy so we tend to discuss her situation. She doesn't know about my, erm, leanings and would be incredulous I suspect! Her son's not at home so I heard second hand from her. When I see her son (which could be a way off) I'll show interest obviously!.......

Well, you how they say you are only five handshakes away from any person on this planet? I know a guy who works for Dutch Top Gear magazine. I'm sure he knows people who work for UK edition and they will have met James. That's three handshakes. *aims to get this down to two (or even better) one*

If i'd have know it was on I could ahve told him that my mum (god rest her cotton socks) was one of the ladies at the Gildridge Bowling club the day James took that Honda up there to test its coolness... (you don't see her much blink and shes gone but she was there!!!) and he drove past my sisters shop on the seafront! Unfortunately for me I was in the shetlands at the time

OK, here's my attempt at some very tenuous connections to James:- 1) I live in west London, albeit a bit further west than James. 2) I spent quite a lot of my childhood in Yorkshire, as did James. 3) I have some extended family in Bristol, where he was born. 4) My parents live not far from Alloa, where some of the Scottish episode of DTB was filmed. 5) I own a Jaguar XJS; so did he at one point. 6) I have the same name as his girlfriend and his younger sister. 7) I've met him three times; twice at booksignings, and once at the Croydon Motorshow in 2007. 8) Following in the tyretracks of James and the others, I've driven round part of the TG track at Dunsfold, including the Hammerhead. 9) I've been to RAF Coningsby, where James flew in the Eurofighter Typhoon on the 20th Century series. Well, I did say they were tenuous!

Oh, I like this game.....hmmm, here's what I have in common with the darling Mr. May:
1. I've BEEN to London......
2. I had a black and white tomcat.
3. Have more vehicles than I actually need...and no garage at home.
4. Use spectacles (but for distance, not near).
5. Have a penchant for getting lost when I DO drive (my strength is turning 'round and backtracking..
6. Have recently begun to appreciate wine
7. Am 47 and have a bit of a tummy
8. Revel in all things British

Right, tenuousness, here we go! ;D
1) I used to live (and my mother still does live) directly under the flight path for White Walthan airfield, where James keeps his plane.
2) I have a friend who used to live about five minutes walk away from his local pub.
3) I'm a big kid and still collect toys from my childhood.
4) I also have the same name as his girlfriend and sister.
5) I live about two miles from the Spitfire 'gate guardian' that was featured in Toy Stories.
6) I also don't live all that far away from Piddington...... ;D
7) I've met him twice, told him off once ( ;D ) and helped to build bits of the Plasticine garden.
8) My hair looks quite similar (but only when it's just been washed!).
9) I used to own a black and white cat.
Umm.......that's it, I think.
