From the BBC website today:
M62 bikers head to Manchester in fuel prices protest
Bikers protesting over the record price of petrol are staging a go-slow on the M62 into Manchester.
Demonstrators hope the "May-Hem" protest, which began at 0900 BST at Hartshead Moor Services in West Yorkshire, would be the biggest held.
Protests in the last two years have seen hundreds of bikers take over motorways, travelling at 25mph.
Police said motorists are facing "significant delays" but have not yet confirmed how many bikers are involved.
Wonder if he's joining them?

On Man Lab, I will take the 'mystery unrepairable motorbike' off your hands! Looks like a 1968 Honda CB250 K0, oh very mysterious - considering that it looks exactly like the Honda CB350 about the same vintage which was one of the biggest selling 'proper' motorcycles ever - if we exclude C50 -C90s etc. I also seem to remember James has/had a Moto Guzzi V7 Sport - no not the first ones, one of the later fey copies. If only, if only- I'd have the 750 Guzzi S3 one of the few bikes which has a look and sound which makes me mildly aroused! How about the programme makers get in touch and I'll suggest some properly mysterious bikes - have a phone in competition - that would pay for the programme.

I assume the Honda 250 is the same one James was asking for a solution to in his column. I also assume no-one came up with the answer!
