Do you guys think James has lost a bit of weight?

Just a 7 from me... as other people have commented, the show was a little 'messy', and seemed rushed given the preparation time they've had?
The Bentley was beautifully shot, the news a little lacklustre (although James comment on ITV covering the moon landing was hilarious), James' film was too short, and thereby lost (for me) any point of the exercise, the Lacetti funeral fell flat (no pun intended).
Amazingly, at the risk of incurring the wrath of the fans of 'serious Top Gear', the only really joyful part of the show for me was Jeremy and the Reliant Robin... the joke really shouldn't have worked, at least not after the second or third time, but somehow he pulled it off... I was crying with laughter at the end!
Even so, welcome back guys, here's to the rest of the series! ;D

I'm so envious of you gals in the UK. We don't get the new season of TG on BBC America yet. Don't know when it will be on Hopefully it won't be too long! BBC America is always behind the times. Go to thebox.bz and download the episodes just after they have aired. If you need an invite, just let me know. I have plenty to spare! I'm in Maine and I watched last night's episode while having dinner. ;D I liked the Bentley test but was getting tired of the boxers and the fire baton girl. Agree totally with everyone about James' volcano film. Brilliant but short! (I've actually driven with that kind of visibility. He should have shut his lights off for a moment and then he'd probably have been able to see the car ahead.) Oh well. Still great film. I probably would have enjoyed the RPCa bit more if I had recognized more of the "stars". I knew Bill Bailey, aka Angelina! It did get a bit tedious. ;DI cheered when James said his bit about the Dacia Sandero Duster! ;D Can't wait for next week's episode! ;D

[Go to thebox.bz and download the episodes just after they have aired. MOH was on it this morning ;D and just watched it.... good programme I thought for the 1st one. Was lacking in James very much though as has already been said. Volcano film was awesome, James is a braver man than most to do that.... was excellent. Jezza's 3 wheeler film was a little twee I thought and predictable but with a few funny bit made it OK. TG BBQ = ha ha ha ha ha..... except where was James? Looking forward to next weeks installement!

Finally watching it through... clandestine means of my own. Did you notice one of the Reliant fans was wearing an "I am The Stig" shirt?

Just watched those outtakes. Our man really does have b*lls of steel, doesn't he? Molten hot lava rolling towards him, and he's just telling the crew, "Relax...."

Isn't that James at the back of Hilux? Hmmmm..... I thought that too Jacqui, but I was unsure so didn't mention anything. Now he's had his hair cut it's a bit hard to tell, well for me anyway.... or I could just need glasses?! ;D

I can't tell. The posture is right, but he looks a little too short and the hair seems wrong.

[Go to thebox.bz and download the episodes just after they have aired. yeah but the only thing about thebox is after a while, you get put on a watch unless you upload stuff or something. i can't download any anymore because of that.
