I got mine a few days ago. I also ordered from Amazon UK. I would normally never pay that much for a book hard back or otherwise. But it was James's book so I had to.

I noticed on Sundat that James' book had gone straight into The Sunday Times best selling books general section at number 7, which is good becase James' books don't' generally feature (unlike Jeremey and Richard's.)

He is number 4 on Amazon's Humour books list below the meerkat book but above Jeremy. ;D

At least it's getting some good publicity. As I type, the audio book is downloading from iTunes. I'll listen to some of it later. Should be good! ;D

Just been reading extracts from his book on the Telegraph site - it did make me laugh. He's a very entertaining writer and clever with it. I'm going to have to buy this one - it could be a Christmas candidate for Mr Crumbs particularly if there are references to burping, flying, and hospital corners - right up his street. I'll read it first though. Also read the interview by the lady who thought he could be the perfect man - something a few of us have considered for some time.......

I love to watch James dissolve into a fit of giggles. The nice thing is they all see the humour, especially when James says he's interested to see how Donal copes with'..they all run after the farmer's wife,'( the fast bit.) As for the glasses.... I love them.

I got a flyer with my book for a free audiobook trial/download. www.audible.co.uk/amazon25T&Cs - membership automatically renews at the end of your 14 days trial, after which you'll continue to receive one audiobook for £7.99 a month. You will not be charged if you cancel before the end of your trial period. Your free audiobook is yours to keep, even if you cancel. expires 01.12.2010 I haven't tried it yet, so I don't know if it is some dodgy thing that ends up costing you a lot.
