Brilliant ;D So want that Boxster Spider, as long as it doesn't start to rain poor James but love the wet look ROFL at the end and his victory dance and getting the "on that bombshell" line - fantastic episode, lots of James thsi week ;D Do you think someone was listening last week? ;D

Our James was a proper cocky little sod this week, wasn't he? I've never seen him so animated. And plenty of him too, definitely balancing last week's disappointing showing.
This episode was more like it - some serious car stuff, some silly car stuff and some serious silliness - just the right balance.

Loved it this week. Good balance of serious and silly, loved SITRPC bit (go Jezza!). Nice splaterring of Mr May, all in all a very good episode.
Now, I'm off to buy a Boxter Spider....

My OH and I watched this week's offering while snuggled up together on my sofa. We were both laughing so much, especially at the German track day challenge! ;D A thoroughly enjoyable episode all around!

A much better episode, nothing in it that I didn't like and James really got to shine. Plenty of good car content too, and I'm heartened that the guys like the Citroen DS3 because I'd quite like one of those. It's cheaper than that Porsche, for a start! It just all felt right and I'm glad about that

A 9 from me this week... my face is still aching from smiling so much! I agree with Wy, a nice balance this week between serious car content and humour (which felt a lot more spontaneous, and less scripted than of late). I'm saving my '10' for next week's episode, for personal reasons....

Well I did give this a 10..... MOH and I have not laffed at a TG episode so much for ages! It was fab all round, good serious car stuff I want one of those Spiders I knew I should have married a millionaire and very relaxed friendly banter between the boys.... like they were all genuinely having a good time. Also from a personal point of view way more James than last week (Did some one tip them off?) and very sexy James too..... wet James (twice), James in Spider fizzing lots.... happy dance James.... OMG he was great this week..... good job MOH was there or I might have been licking the TV screen Oh and LIZ - SPILL THE BEANS!!!!!! ;D pleaseeeeeee...........

She's a weaseley thing, she is...
Anyway, I finally got to watch it. It was funny. I especially liked James' phone conversation and the reverse-into-Hammond joke (it was foreshadowed by the odd gear arrangement, it worked, and you can't say Richard didn't have it coming). It was so very obvious that yes, they really do snipe at each other all the time, it's not scripted, and it's their way of enjoying each other's company.
I think I understand their friendship now too; i.e. why James is friends with them. It's not really that they share tastes and interests, although they do sometimes. It's that they have a 'man friendship' with all the juvenile locker-room prankiness that implies. He likes them because he can relate to them in a blokey sort of way. If he read TG slash (or even the tamer stuff that winds up in the locked threads) he'd be horrified not by the smut but by the way they took his honest manly friendship and turned it into something sappy.

Watched the episode last night w/MOH. He has asked me to tell everyone here that he thinks they are styling James' hair too much for the actual studio presentation. He thinks the messy look or the "just woke up from a nap on the couch" look fits James better. ;D ;D
I think part of the hair issue is that it is still recovering from its last cut. Although he may be right, from certain angles it looks like they've tried to do something with it and a brush. ;D
Loved James trapped in the bubble car! ;D I was amazed his head even fit through the window!
Definitely loads more James this week. Methinks we have a mole! ;D
Reversing into Richard was fantastic! Especially when the German tester did it too!
Lots of serious stuff, great antics with the guys and James really stole the show! ;D ;D

Had an Isetta bubble car just like that one a few years ago, in fact, so like it that I did a double-take and made a point of checking the numberplate on Sunday. There can't be many still around that colour and in that condition. Wasn't the same one though.

What's it like to attend a filming, those of you who have actually been there? What do the presenters do between links? Do you get close enough to see them or do you have to be content with just being in the same room?
