Just to clarify...a bunch of aussie JMB'ers have been to a few shows both 2009 and 2010 ;D and we did both diamond, platinum (non-alcohol and alcohol) and was it gold or silver seats (can't remember). Diamond seats naturally excellent with Mr May, Clarkson, Hammond etc walking past and being right up close to the action. Platinum seats are excellent and non-alcohol in particular for their location and elevated unobstructed views...(and no I never had any bother at all with kids being in that section...I never saw any...mind you the noise me and the 5 or so other JMB'ers made exceeded what noise any poor child could possibly have made  )....silver and gold seats give you nose bleeds as Aussie put and quite frankly are mostly terrible. If you are going to the shows go for platinum ticks.  Ditto to what eclair said. I got Platinum seats and even though they were still far from where Jezza and James were walking (therefore I couldn't take a proper picture without moving like a crazy woman), it's still a good spot to get a view of the action on the stage. You're also better off in the middle of the row, as the ushers won't bother you that much when you take pics (they normally tell off people on the end, but they told me off once). Platinum for me was over $100 and worthy of the admission as there are other things to look at outside and inside. However, do be prepared for the unpredictable weather. When I was there, we were caught in a storm with lightning and everything and the only thing to protect us on the way the station was a merch bag. I was soaked by the time I got back to the motel we were staying at. Still, it was a great night and I can't wait for them to come to Melbourne. I'm curious where they will do it. |

My guess for Brisbane is the Convention Centre... *mumbles about the crapness of that venue* - or maybe the Entertainment Centre. If it's at the Ent Cent, sorry but I'm giving it a miss - nothing on earth will get me back out that far north again (no offence to any Brisbane northsiders here, it's just a bit of a hike when you're all the way out west.)
Still, I'm not making any plans until I see WHEN, and HOW MUCH. Then I can make plans to either go with the Melbourne crowd (I'm serious, anyone up for it?) or...
(Actually no, I've worked too many car-related shows at Willowbank Raceway and surrounds... and from memory, I much prefer Melbourne petrolheads!) ;D

What about Sydney? They will def come to Sydney - I don't think you need to worry! If not, you can always plan a weekend away in Bris or Melb and go then.  |

Interesting that there isn't any Sydney dates at the moment. Events NSW had a contract that included 2011.......I guess time will tell. Looking forward to seeing them in Melbourne, and perhaps a flying trip to Bris Vegas too |

Jezza and James were on BBC London News yesterday and were interviewed on Absolute Radio today at 7.50. (Richard couldn't make yesterday, but will be part of the tour.) Check out Listen Again on their website later. www.absoluteradio.co.uk. They mentioned the cities they were doing this year outside the UK and Ireland: Brisbane, Melbourne, Johannesburg and Oslo. |

Great they've picked a Scandianvian city but oh damn, why aren't they going to Stockholm? It would be so easy just to ride on the bus to the port, jump on the boat (er, ferry) and in a few hours' time I could be there in Stockholm to watch the show... Oslo is too far away, snif.  |

So frickin excited that they're coming to Melbourne. Also interesting they're doing it at the show grounds (not the first choice I would've throught of, although mind you they do have a lot of space). Contemplating getting the Diamond ticket this time round.
