Last Christmas Britain's retailers experienced a minor phenomenon known as the "James May effect", in which Christmas shoppers appeared to be turning away from buying computer games for their relatives, and returned to the old favorites of previous decades such as Airfix and Scalextric.tinyurl.com/38op474It would seem sales are still down this year.... oh dear.... could the young of today finally be moving towards nuts and bolts as apposed to Wee's and Z boxes ;D

I remember noticing during his show, that airfix was made in the UK, which is more good news. I do hope the trains are made over here too.

I like good news - it's increasingly rare at the moment. James is good news full stop and makes the world a more jolly place to be. And he makes me randy ( ;
