My dear old ex had one of these (astra max), if I remember he sobbed the day it had to go, I'll have to show him this.

Was that hunky van driver Mr Wilman? Well!
Love the Esprit. My late hubby had one (he was a real Lotus man) and it was one of his favourites; mine too.
(Btw, what's that happening between 2.23 and 2.30? Does anyone else get a grainy windmill and sheep?)

Blimey, that takes me back! ;D Good to see some old TG again. I used to watch TG in the 1990s, when I was in my teens, and I have great memories of Jezza, Tiff Needell, Quentin Willson ('Count Quentula'), Steve Berry, and good old Andy Wilman. I'm sure there were other presenters too, but those are the ones that spring to mind. Yes Dit, I also got the sheep and the windmill. It looks like the channel was accidentally changed for a moment while the original video recording was taking place. As I recall, it was easily done.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
That's awesome. Anyone who thinks old TG was always dry and stuffy and straightforward doesn't remember it very well. It's things like this that made me do a very gentle parody of it back in the 90s ('Jeremy' reviewing spaceships from old British sci-fi programmes, which was written partly because I loved TG and I was at the time the only person in my group of friends who watched it but mainly because there was someone really annoying in our cast who would object utterly to having to wear a black frightwig), because they clearly had a sense of humour.
But aww, look at their hair! Look at the lack of wrinkles! They're so cute and young! Fast-forward to yesterday and Andy, bless him, looked like a tramp's mate. Which was adorable, actually ;D
