I thought it was about time we had a generic Snow thread for photos etc of snow. Mine from today are here: Snow PhotosAnd a short video of how not to drive a sports car up a hill in the snow!

The view from my bedroom window this morning (both ways). We very rarely get any appreciable amounts of snow here on the Fylde Coast as it has its own eco-system, so more than a dusting becomes quite an event!

Needless to say, the sunlounger didn't get much use ;D
Do you end up with stripes when you use that lounger in the summer?

Do your potted plants come back to life?? To be honest they were fairly dead way before the snow fell, but I will of course be using the snow as the reason ;D

Do your potted plants come back to life?? It depends what they are. Some of mine were squash plants, o they won't, but I hope the fuchsia & the herbs will survive. That particular bit of the town centre is the oldest & prettiest stretch of the High Street, further up it's much newer (mid 20th century) and not nearly so attractive!

This afternoon I went for a walk in the snow covered parkland near where I live. It looks ever so pretty at the moment, and the canal that runs through it is frozen over. It's a proper winter wonderland, and I love it! ;D

Oooh the snow is so pretty! Cannot wait to have a white Christmas, though I imagine living with it isn't as fun as looking at it?
We have snow in Australia too! Not where I live (near the beach) but in the mountain areas, and we are in SUMMER! Crazy weather at the moment.

It's a lovely fine flaked snow that's happening outside my window... but we've already several inches so it doesn't add that much! We had 8 inches a few weeks ago but we had a day that warmed a lot and it all washed away in rain. Ah, Maine snow.
