Top Gear spotted in....well, on the A120 between Colchester and Braintree, Essex during a massive rainstorm and going in the opposite direction from me.
At least, a massive (REALLY massive) truck with the TG logo all over it. It looked like the sort of thing they would use for moving the live show around the country, but of course it's not the season for that. Anyone got any ideas what, how or why?

Going towards or away from Colchester? Just 'cos I've got a friend in Colchester and I can get her to keep her eyes open! As for why, they are still filming things for this current series, so they could be going somewhere to set something up??

Do they take their own OB unit with them wherever they film? It was a truly gargantuan truck, but it seems a rather odd road to have spotted them on. I suppose they could have been taking a circuitous route back to London from somewhere, via A120 and M11, as that's the only motorway in the neighbourhood. Maybe we'll find out one day. Sorry, but that was about the least interesting TG "spot" in the history of television. Must do better.

Scary - and hysterical! It's got to be road-legal as it has the latest numberplate.
With that stripe it has to be some sort of mickey-take on the Ford GT40, surely? Can't wait to see it in context!
