Sounds like on the whole most of you thought it was a good episode for the end of series. Am looking forward to it. As usual I will probably get to see it within a day or so once TOH has done his download duties ;D

Cheers for the download Andypanty.Did you get to see Andys pants when you went to see the show? No Hardly got to see any of him - just a quick wave and grin across the stage before the news. I think he spent the coffee break trying to calm Prescott down One of the best, would love to see the whole Prescott interview ;D Maybe they could put it up on their website. My other favourite tv-show The Daily Show often does that when the interview is too interesting to be cut short. The whole interview was actually terrible in parts. It was edited extremely well to make it enjoyable, but it got really nasty a couple of times. And not nasty in an entertaining way - just... nasty

I was relieved when Jeremy said "See you in June" at the end, as otherwise the episode was the ultimate perfection, from the point of view of the guys, at least. Me too! I was so relieved. The whole episode had a last-ever feeling to it, I said so to mr Hops and he agreed. So, when Jeremy said "there's another thing that makes me sad" (or how did he phrase it) my heart was suddenly in my throat. It was a wonderful ep. James in the mooncar was strangely moving. And I'll keep my comments on Richard and Jeremy's driving restricited to some other place.

AP, sorry to trouble you yet again as you've been so helpful with the downloads, but this one came through as an MP4 with file type 'unknown'. I managed to get it to play but it's rather 'pixilated' round the edges most of the time, especuially in the studio segments. Says it's a.2011 file? As you know I'm dim about these things - suggestions?
Many thanks as always.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, just as I have enjoyed this entire series. TG really seems to be back on form. For me, this series was made even better by my being able to watch most of it while snuggled up on the sofa with my new fella, with both of us laughing out loud at various events and witticisms. Happy times. Bring on series 17! ;D

Try this one.[/color] I re-recorded it last night from BBC3, so it's got that logo on it, but other than that I hope it's better quality. (There's a few minutes of rubbish at the beginning 'cos I didn't want to miss the start!) Apologies to anyone who had trouble with the quality of my recent downloads - my laptop blew up and I had to source alternative recording/converting methods. Lappy is now restored to working order and has been instructed to behave itself in future, so hopefully things will be sorted.

Please don't apologise, AP! You've made it possible for me to download stuff without stress, which is the state I'm normally in trying to do that sort of thing.
Edit: download seems fine - thanks.

Ok, I have to tell yaz all - I watched the final episode with James at Nasa last night, and I confess, I cried.
I was heartbroken when our President stopped funding projects for the Moon. And when I saw how James produced his film about the moon buggy and the program, how he expressed the same thoughts as me about the funding, the whole thing.....just got to me. It was a wonderful tribute.
And for the umpteenth time, I've fallen in love with that man again. I wonder how many more times I'm capable of that.

Fantastic episode. Kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time (usually I get bored at some point, usually with the SIARPC. Not this time though ;D). All three of them were in their element - seeing James with the moon buggy was so heart-warming. Again, I was struck by how well this show is constructed. The effects, the music etc. add so much to it. Quality is the word that comes to mind. And not only that, we got to see it here before 2020! ;D

Have you seen the France wine adventure yet? Because if not, you'd better install some seat belts on your sofa!! You'll see what I mean... I'm pretty sure the Road Trip we're seeing on Monday night is California, and France is the next week. And I'm very sure I'm in for a coronary, am I right? I think I saw a little of it on utube and my head exploded. Too much James usually sends me into a tizzy, takes me a long time to shake it off.

That's it exactly " too much James"... well, I'm not sure there is such a thing. But the first episode of the France Adventure will leave you absolutely breathless. Take my word for it!! ;D

Auh gawd
ok let me get this straight
devil-may-care - you said, "That's it exactly "too much James"... well, I'm not sure there is such a thing."
Really?
I'm afraid to find out. It's like he casts a spell on you the minute you look at him. And it's a powerful spell cuz I got zapped by it over a tv screen, from across the ocean, 5 hours out of my time-zone.
What's up with that? I've been a prisoner to this spell for 7 years and [amazingly still] counting.
A happy prisoner, mind you.
James on a big hi-def screen. Sorry I keep repeating myself, but omg.
if you don't hear from me next week, you'll know what happened.
