Going back to Love Fungus, I found this, a different angle on one that was on here earlier. Plus closeup.

I love that jacket! ;D Here's some useless trivia... We had the first episode of TG Series 17 air here recently, as well as Man Lab straight after it, from last week. National viewer ratings: Last week: Top Gear = 657,000 (#17) Man Lab = 289,000 (#34) This week: Top Gear = 596,000 (#19) Man Lab = 286,000 (#32) Not so good for TG, but considering the timeslot, I'd say Man Lab is holding its own quite well so far.

Interesting Pie, bodes well for James taking it to the US.
PS: love the jacket too ;D

I want one of those bikes. My son has a large collection of swiss Army knives and it never ceases to amaze me the number of functions thet can perform, so the bike must do everything, but on a grander scale.

It all seems to be shaping up with Man Lab. Various official tweets coming through from jamesmaysmanlab:
So would you like to learn how to cut your own hair? We have a willing volunteer! Someone asked Is that willing volunteer Mr May himself? Response Don't think we'd get away with that one. Maybe when he's not looking.
There's also: Would you like us to cover drawing? What would you like to know about it? Send us bad drawings and James might gently mock them in Man Lab.
And finally, from the Craft Council UK (the UK's development agency for contemporary craft) Does anyone know of someone who makes paper? James May’s Man Lab are looking for someone for next series....
This looks as if it's all going to be extremely interesting!

LOL! ;D
Here, ratings for Man Lab went up a bit this week, but so did the TG ratings (quite substantially), which technically means more people tuned out, looking at the percentages.

The last time @jamesmaysmanlab tweeted, the message ended 'feels weird to be filming xmas special in august' or something similar. Could this be a clue?

Apparently there was a programme on Sky Arts last night (Saturday) about the High Voltage Festival, and there was an interview with James. Did anyone catch this? I've no idea of any details!

I think the Manlab Chrissy decorations are lacking a bit of commitment. You'd think they'd been put up by men or something.

Rather annoyingly, it was repeated today - at 5.30 pm. Missed it again. Still, Sky programmes are endlessly repeated. - you never know your luck.

I wish there was a bar (and barman) like that around my neck of the woods. I'd have to be surgically removed.

I picked up this info today. Looks as if the content of the new series is going to be...erm....eclectic!
Hightown Strummers Ukulele Band Group of ukulele enthusiasts, having fun, doing gigs to raise money for good causes.
1st we just strummed, then on the radio, then in the press - now TV! Watch out for James May's Man Lab, to be screened in October on BBC2.
