This appeared on the Manlab Twitter today... www.twitvid.com/SXDCCI'm posting a link rather than the image because I will not be responsible for the THUDDAGE that occurs if you're not sitting down properly when you open it.

There is a tweet and a very nice pic of James on the manlab account. They are still editing. Now if someone would like to go and liberate the pic for us all to view..
I would do it but i am using my mobile and it is too complicated to multi-task!

Woo hoo! This is the first time I've ever tried to post a photo and it actually worked! It's a bit hard to see in a photo this small but he's all sawdusty and delicious ETA: sorry, forgot to credit the photo but it's from the twitvid page, of course...

Looks as if great minds have very much been thinking alike!
Fab pic - though I wish these Man Lab photos were better quality, they tend to be grainy.
Edit - I take it back - I've just saved it direct from the twitvid page and it's hi-def and crystal clear!

TOH brought home a sample copy of the first season of Man Lab today, so I guess it's going to be released here sometime. It doesn't have any information on it, but I will let you know if I find anything out.
Nice picture, too bad it's so small.

Ooh, I do like a good high res, me! Edited the following day to take out a comma that I'd accidentally slipped in, tried to ignore but was irritating me every time I came to this page!

I recon James is getting ready for a page 3 calender man lab stylie. He's doing an awful lot of come hither in the eyes and pencil teasing. Now have pleasing images of James with a tool belt and a properly positioned hammer............. Not a locked thread! I shall have to keep the rest to myself then.

This has appeared on twitter, which suggets the new series is starting a week earlier than has previously been given, but when you check the link the episode descriptions are from series 1. Anyone know what's going on? Top Gear fans! The new second series of James May's Man Lab starts Tues 25 October, 8pm, BBC2 bit.ly/nqbkWO #topgear @bbc_TopGear

Well, Radio Times seem to have it listed for the 25th, so it looks pretty likely.
Never trust the BBC, though

Programme 1:
"James and Oz Clarke break out of Dartmoor Prison, evade a team of trackers and navigate their way across moors using only a map and compass in their latest attempt to re-skill the modern male. James tests his own abilities further as he takes on what he feels is the most threatening challenge facing men today - remembering names at a dinner party."

It would be great if the people saying Top Gear America is horrible would give them ideas to work the show better. Say for example something like maybe get to know your fellow announcer (presenter) better... turn it into a game. Build some of that chemistry. There most be some better ideas out there.

There's going to be a Christmas episode! From Man Lab on twitter: Started work editing the Christmas Ep. James May and Oz Clarke cook the perfect man Xmas dinner with interesting results!Plus an outtake (Oz only) First ep of James May's Man Lab showing on 25th Oct 8pm BBC Two. Outtake to celebrate. www.twitvid.com/TEQ55 I'm so glad James and Oz are working together again, as they are such good foils for each other. EDIT: Yesterday I posted this on the series 18 spoilers thread, in connection with their return from filming: James has been in Dussledorf for the weekend, apparently with one of the film companies that worked on Great Wine Adventures and the first Man Lab. He got back to the UK earlier this evening.I've just found out why - couldn't believe this video when I saw it. Must be a Man Lab thing, surely? The man really will do nerve-wracking things for TV - I wouldn't like to go out and do that in front of all those people. Enjoy! www.youtube.com/watch?v=EY9KQprjnIA&feature=youtu.be

I wonder what that was all about?
