We don't often read about the charity work the guys do, they tend to keep quiet about it, but I bumped into a website that refers to people's 'good works', and has two TG stories, both published last year. Top Gear have handed over a hefty donation to the Nelson Mandela Foundation charity. The donation came from the proceeds of an event which included an auction to attend the premiere of Top Gear 2011, and race around the track in the car with The Stig. The Top Gear charity event was held in South Africa.and Celebrity Gargoyles for Charity 'Top Gear' Gargoyles UK celebrities have been immortalised as Gargoyles by artist Kim Leachman, to raise funds for charity. The Top Gear team, Katie Price and Simon Cowell are amoung the sculptured celebrity heads, now on display at the New Forest Show. Check them out in person, then bid online for the celebrity gargoyles at the charity website, The Steve Bernard Foundation.london.jollypeople.com
