I'm glad you gave the warning on the last car, but as you know, humans are curious creatures. All I can say is... Eeeeewwwwww...

I love renewable energy, but what the heck was that last car? You're right, I do feel kinda ill now. Come on people, you can make cars with renewable energy and not make them butt-ugly.

I want to hate the Aston Martin Cygnet, partly because I actually really like the car it's based on - the Toyota iQ, which looks very much like that with a different grille - partly because I don't want Aston Martins to lose their exclusivity and partly because it just seems like a cynical inroad into a market segment that never needed Aston Martin... but I can't. It's partly that I can't hate it because it's probably the only Aston I'll ever stand a chance of affording, partly that actually, I think it's quite cute (in a 'this car cheapens the brand image and should never have happened' kind of way), but mainly that, as with all of these cars, it will bring down the average emissions across the range substantially, and the more Cygnets AM sells, the lower their average emissions per vehicle will be... which means they'll be able to carry on making proper Aston Martins like the DBS I saw on my local high street the other day, and that the owner thoughtfully revved for me so I could listen to that glorious engine and have a little crisis
