Recent pics from TopGear.com. I'm quoting this mainly so I don't have to look at John Lennon again. Hate The Beatles with a passion!!! Anyway. That M5 looks freaking SWEEEEET. I do find a man driving a nice car sexier than average - not gonna lie. Actually, I find the concept of a man driving me somewhere sexy... Off to the NC I go. I really shouldn't leave.

Here are a couple pictures that were posted on Twitter today. Do you think James knew these were taken?! lol. Also, he seems very secretive over his phone...JAMES IS LOOKING AT LADIES!!!!! Also, is it sad that when he got his iPhone 4 out on Tuesday I got really excited because I have one too?!

OK, I will say it. The growing belly is starting to worry me. Not bother me, worry me. He is turning into perfect heart attack material - hectic, pressured lifestyle, smoker, drinker, truncal body fat. James!! We want you around forever man!!!!

@morganstarr89... so you have something else to think about rather than JL that I put up next to our Sun God: you know the episode of Man Lab where your name gets a mention? Well.... what is the first thing he pulls out of that bowl? Something to do with flagellation wasn't it? I'll let you go check it out..

"Ah yes, Morgan Starr 89 writes..." Then he shows me his flute and apples.... then, he lets me know that I have to come and get it...

I was watching the Veyron Bugatti epi yesterday - in which he looked unutterably gorgeous. He was also much more svelte then. Now, for me the weight does not make him less attractive but I do wonder how many pints, curries and pies he's been packing away lately on his very busy schedule. It's the smoking really - that'll get him in any number of ways. And he seems to be a heavy smoker too.

I've been worrying about this for the better part of a year and every time I bring it up I get either stony silence or arguments the other way indicating it's an appearance issue. It's not, I'm terrified. As you both point out, he's a white male, pushing 50, drinks, smokes, eschews exercise, has a questionable diet and has a very busy/stressful job. Whatever is going on with the tummy has to also be affecting his back too. Week tummy muscles= bad back and vice versa. And what about all his digestive problems? Someone needs to tame this horse for his own good.

I thought he had lost quite a bit of weight for a while, now he seems to be regaining it. I am constantly amazed when I read anything about his work schedule...TG filming, ManLab, other shows, TV & radio interviews, public appearances, writing TG columns, publishing books, etc. And he always talks about being lazy and just wanting to tinker on his bikes. I wonder if he's not forcing himself into a work schedule that really isn't compatible with his personality. Or is he a closet Type A?

I think he thinks he's coming to the end of the Top Gear thing and needs other avenues. He also strikes me as someone who would feel irresponsible if he wasn't working constantly. In travel alone, his schedule is hideous. Of course, this is all wild supposition and I am pulling it all out of my...um...hat. Our opinions on the motivations of someone we don't know would probably make an interesting Rorschach test.

Someone needs to tame this horse for his own good. Thinking about it, I think it is a very difficult, sensitive area to discuss. I don't give a stuff about his appearance in terms of weight or ageing. And we have to face the fact that he's a clever bloke and has the freedom to decide what to eat, drink and yes, smoke if he likes. So, whilst we may ponder on his health and secretly think 'hmmmmm, that's a little bit of a worry', there's naff all to be done. Also, being in the public domain means you are open to be judged and criticised - and some on here may fear that is what is being done here although I know you are both worrying about him and not judging him at all. The only person that can tame the horse (in the way you're describing) is James himself - it's his choice. Anyway, I will volunteer to tame him if you like...I can strap him down....and soothe him.....and stroke him......and and...teleport to the NC please!

Here's my 2 cents worth. Rugby shirts are not flattering. Those wide stripes make anyone look bigger than they are. I've noticed when he wears plain or flowered shirts he doesn't look so big. Jezza has a man baby, should we give James a nickname for his also? I agree with both sides, he does look bigger in the gut but he is an adult and knows his body.

This is a Ferrari 458 Italia. I have been lusting after this car (and not just James) for some time, although I can't decide if prefer this or the 458 Spider. For me, it has to be in red though.

I admit I was a bit wary about my post, but it has been nagging at me for some time. You're all correct of course. It's none of our bloody business and I'm sure his nearest and dearest (and his doctors) have it covered. But James, if you're reading this, please take some care of yourself man!! (I still would though!!)

I don't think it's wrong for James' adoring fans to express concern that he's working too hard and not taking care of himself as long as it's done respectfully and out of genuine concern.
