Thank you Dit. I think we must hire a symphony orchestra and James as conductor. I really wish James would do something musical. There was a suggestion once that he and Oz were going to do something with choirs.

That would be excellent from james point of view - not sure i can bear too much of Oz singing though sorry Oz fans

Oz won a choral scholarship in his youth, so he must have been able to sing at one time. He could try a duet with James. James would take the lead and Oz could join in on the chorus, or would that spoil it completely? Dit, I keep looking at those pictures, they are fabulous.

I just adore this one. I'd make it my desktop background if I could get away with it.

I've no doubt he can sing - for some reason it just makes me cringe They can both sing i really don't mind - I have a mute button ;D

You could get away with that one for sure Pie! Would you believe it...I actually did just try, but stupid rotten Windows 7 Starter won't let me change my background!! Apparently I have to have Windows 7 proper to be able to customise stuff. So much for that then.

Seconded! It may be that James is already thinking of something along those lines. He always creates programmes around his favourite ideas, things he is enthusiastic about, so I can't believe the thought hasn't crossed his mind as his music is clearly tremendously important to him.

This one gets me every time. Gorgeous. On a different note, for a split second I thought this was the same t-shirt! Same bloke though...I'd take either! ;D

It wouldn't surprise me if it was the same T-shirt. He seems to hang on to stuff for a long time - I suspect he takes very good care of his things.

*Ahem* at the risk of sounding a bit sad... I would say its a different T Shirt as the stripes on the sleeves on the 2nd photo are closer together than the sleeves on the first. Not that i am looking that closely you understand ;D

Those pictures are fantastic, Dit! Several weeks ago, in the comments on James's DT column online, someone said they'd like to see him do a programme on the science of music, taking a different instrument each week. James replied (I'm fairly sure it was the real James), saying that they'd talked about something very much like that, and he might be able to do it in a year or two. So let's keep our fingers crossed.

Ambergris, I hope you're right. I'll look forward in happy anticipation to the thought of that.
And the T-shirt....yes, I obviously didn't look closely enough, what was I thinking of! You're right about the details, ladies. Perhaps I should just say how consistent his taste is.

If I recall correctly, it was at the end of the duel. He was shot and while he was "dying" we saw his life flash before his eyes. Those pics were part of it.
