To be honest would any sane person let their son borrow their car, especially worth that amount (And with the girlfriend in tow). Money to waste I fear. Next time let it borrow the family horse.

OK, here's the situation, His parents went away on a weeks vacation, and he took the keys to the brand new Porsche (uh, Gumpert) Would they mind, uh, well, of course not! He'd just take it for a little spin, Maybe show it off to a couple of friends, He'd just cruise around the neighborhood Maybe he shouldn't? Yeah, of course he should... I'm sure we all know what happens after that. ;D

The man was driving with a 19-year-old female passenger and both of them walked away from the accident with minor injuries.
Imagine the guy trying to save face in front of his girlfriend after that little debacle: "Nah, babe, we got a dozen of these. Dad gave me this one 'cause it's getting a little run down. 'Take it out and trash it' he said."
