And Hammond has the cheek to criticize James' jumpers! That's a shocker. I didn't know motocycle taxis existed. We don't have them here, to my knowledge.

I saw stubble and the hint of a cold sore. Poor lamb does seem to suffer with them. AND.... my fave wooly pully

One of my fave jumpers too.
"Cheer up! Clarkson didn't look too happy, despite his bumper year financially"
Cheeky buggers! It's crystal clear that Jeremy is staring with contempt at the photographer who is papping him. I don't blame him either - who would?

The only noteworthy thing in that whole article was that James' hair has grown out nicely. Hope he doesn't cut it again.

Your comment was very well-reasoned, dmc! The original article was contradictory in places and clearly showed bias, though I suppose that's the point of a blog really - to express an opinion then allow people to disagree with it! I finally got round today to reading a Sunday magazine from a couple of weeks ago that is a motoring special, and found this enjoyable article about TG's greatest moments, written by Andy Wilman. Enjoy.... This is the wrong link - it's a repeat of dmc's link above but doesn't pick up the article. I've left it in so the posts below make sense - sorry folks! Please see below for the proper one!www.anglotopia.net/british-entert....#comment-157512

Thank you, dit. I took great exception to her generalizations and misinformation. I clicked on your link, but it says that the page no longer exists.

It is a great article and a lovely top 10 (The reliant Robin is my all time fave and I nearly cried when it failed to separate) but I would add the mini "flying" from that ski ramp in the Winter Olympics, and the amphibious cars pt I and II ;D

That was a good read. It's interesting to see Andy's favourites because his perspective would be completely different to that of a viewer. I guess his "hell-raising" moments would have a lot more to do with what went on behind the scenes (which we can only imagine, sadly). I'd definitely add the second Amphibious Cars to that list too! That is my sentimental favourite - and I was even geeky enough to watch it on my phone while I sat on the White Cliffs of Dover (yes, I know : . I must admit that I've never watched the London to Edinburgh race. It was on TV recently but the recording didn't work. Boo.

The London-Endinburgh race was the only TG challenge I ever felt sorry for Jezza and made me want to hug him and/or do other things to him. Shower him, that is ;D

Well, there's really nothing positive about that. Except maybe to say that at least people felt that their information was worthy of passing on. I mean, it is good to see Jeremy and James mentioned next to such "A List" celebrities as Madonna. I don't know how "big" they are in the UK (pretty big I suppose) but in the US if you say Jeremy Clarkson the response you're most likely gonna get is "Jeremy Who?" And, yes, I would love it if someone would pass that info along to me. At least the next time they are going to be traveling to the US.

Probably as James worked for The Telegraph, that may be how they had their names mentioned.... possibly I am just speculating really I'd just like to know anything In fact - does James's agent update any sites or what-have-you so fans like us can know what the frig is happening and where he will be filming "Toy Stories" and needing volunteers etc etc? I'd volunteer for anything!

Well, it's a British newspaper reporting on a leak by a British airline to a British photo agency and, to be honest, they're probably of more interest to the British tabloid reading public than Madonna is these days.

I don't think the mention is anything to do with James having worked for the Telegraph previously; the same list is in a number of UK papers. The Guardian is running photos and details of the flights that were passed on to the paps. Apparently the details were as follows: James May and Jeremy Clarkson (flight) VS602 20 Mar (must have been last year)Leaves Johannesburg at 21.45 and arrives Heathrow at 06.50 next day

I came across this article today about Jeremy's recent comparison of a Prius concept car with the Elephant Man. (It might be old news - I don't read this thread a whole lot.) theage.drive.com.au/motor-news/top-gears-facial-slur-ok-says-watchdog-20120509-1ycis.htmlI love the BBC's response to the complaints: "Whilst it's true that the presenters did reference facial disfigurement when reviewing the Prius camper van, we hope it would be clear from the sheer absurdity of the context that no offence was intended."BINGO.
