BBCAmerica is not saying when we will get it here in the states. I use an application called Graboid.com that costs me 4.99 a month. I'm hoping someone will post the episodes right after they've aired. That's how I got caught up. I also use it for US shows as well if they aren't not comcast.

They are exciting and fabulous as well as smart.I had no idea what top gear was although I had seen commercials of the show. I decided to watch the first time as I was eating dinner. That was a mistake. I was laughing so hard I started choking on my food. There is absolutely no doubt they are entertaining as well as informative. Too bad top gear US just doesn't hit the mark. I fell asleep during the one episode I tried to watch. I should give them another chance.

Bump ;D Counting down.... Jeremy Clarkson celebrates the 50th birthday of the Jaguar E-type by driving a modern, half a million pound interpretation of this classic sports car before putting on a typically low key birthday party involving live music, classic fighter planes and a group of Royal Marines.
Meanwhile, Richard Hammond is in South Africa to test a bigger, even more rugged alternative to the famous Hummer, while James May meets up with gold medal winning British Olympian Amy Williams for a wintry test of the latest Mini rally car.
Plus, the power crazed BMW 1-series M is on the test track and another top celebrity guest takes their place in the Reasonably Priced CarThis will be the big party for the Jaaaaaaaaaag that my sister totally missed

Well, the boys are back, and it would seem they really are. That felt like old Top Gear, which was rather wonderful. Loved it all. The right mix and balance, not much of it felt particularly false (although the jokes are still a bit obvious); felt teary over the Jags, and the mini race was fantastic. Hammonds hair is great too, but sorry, not liking James's so much. Surprisingly impressed. Oh and I want one of those Hummer replacements. That is my ideal car. Granted it wouldn't fit in my en-block garage but I would just park it in the ones either side of mine as well, and no one would ever block me in again.

Firstly, not enough James tonight However the film of him driving the "original" Mini Cooper S was fantastic, the thrill of the ride was written all over his face. ;D ;D Love the Jaaaaaaaaag film - I want one!!! Good start to the series - keep it up guys but ......more James Willman... or your lucky pants die ;D

I agree, not enough James (but then I can never get enough James). Looking as lovely as ever, though the shirt was shocking. ;D Great to see and hear him enjoying the Mini so much.
I thought the sound and photography had been pushed up a notch--even more exciting than usual.
Good one.

very good indeed. I did notice the new graphics computer they have bought - loads of flashy bits an pieces! I dont get the love of old cars though - the mini might have been god in its day, but its sh*te compared to new cars! The same goes for the old Jag! It had its day! However - I digress! Kris Meeke is a nce guy - and he can peddle a new mini! But - his overals were rubbish compared to Amy Williams! If I had £40k, I would buy a 1M (why isnt it an M1 - Like an M3 or M5? ) - I love a good pocket rocket! I gave it 9/10!

Not enough of James! I know the show is Jezza's "baby" in so many ways, but I do like there to be a bit more of an even spread.
Having said that, I really enjoyed it. I laughed loudly at the end of the E-type segment on Beachy Head, I was impressed by James' enthusiasm with the Minis - I don't ever think I've heard him make noises like that! Richard with the Hummer-style vehicle was amusing, but if I do have a minor criticism it's that maybe his over-excited persona is just wearing a little bit thin - though we are led to believe he is actually like that, so perhaps I shouldn't nit-pick!
Oh, and James' shirt? After I'd taken a good while to get used to it and stop my eyes from phasing I quite liked it. He seems to have lost weight again, and it suits him. But that's being a bit shallow - it's the programme we're commenting on here, and I thought it was first-class!
(btw, there were 75 tweets on twitter under James' name before the prog finished, 135 after and 164 and rising since then. I don't want to think about how many there are under Top Gear!)
Edit: AP, are you around? Yours are the only downloads my brain can handle!

Flat, didn't BMW do that to differentiate it from the M1? MY BOYS ARE BACK! There was not a thing I didn't like about that episode - perfectly balanced between the three of them, excellent SIARPC, the humour was less contrived, all three 'presenter' films were played to the boys' individual strengths (James seems to have found a niche with rally cars over the last couple of years that suits him far better than I might have originally expected) and I loved the BMW review because I've been gazing in envy at that little monster since it launched. I may never have one, but I'm glad it's as good as I'd want it to be. Simply an all round fantastic episode BBC, if you're in here (and I know there's a fair chance you will be, give our regards to Mr Wilman and the boys) MORE OF THIS PLEASE <3

I loved the beemer, want one of those when the current go-mobile expires, and the old mini reminded me of my sisters when I was a baby (she is 18 yrs older than me). Wonder if it had string door release?
I wasn't fussed on the new jaaaaaaag. The original had something "more" about it.
Liked James new loud shirt - want one of those... on my bedroom floor preferably. :-) *heads back to naughty corner*

I had a crisis when I saw that Marauder. Soon as I saw it next to the Hummer I honestly shouted 'Jesus!'
I think even the deaf heard me. Though now I know what to ask Santa for.

Personally, I wanted that Beemer. If they carry on like this for the next few weeks, Santa's going to be getting a very long list from us lot!

Here's a download link.Overall, I rather liked that episode too. And can I thank Jeremy for when he wanted to talk about Detroit for actually talking about our good music and car history? I'm too used to Detroit's high-crime and slum status being the topic of discussion whenever it comes up with nearly anyone in the states. Like Alice Cooper, I grew up in Detroit too. *cough*thesuburbs*end cough* Although my husband and I were both a bit surprised by how slow his lap was, even if the track was soaking wet. Detroit's one of the best places to learn to drive like a deranged as***le, and that's just from trying to keep up with traffic! Guess SIARPC was my favorite segment this time. And usually I skip that part when rewatching. Liked James when he was driving that Mini, and afterwards when Jeremy was flirting with Amy. His facial expressions were great for the latter and he looked like he was having so much fun in the former! ;D Agree with everyone else who said it. There wasn't enough James this episode.

Thanks for the link, meimicham - it worked, and didn't confuse me! Well, not too much, I've just got to work out how to move it from where it landed (not where I asked it to!)
I've put some caps in the NC as some were requested there, but I'l put some others up tomorrow too.

I do love to hear Jeremy say at the beginning of the show, "We're Back!!" That means there will be a good 5-7 episodes to come! ;D ;D
I've been waiting for what seems like forever to see the scene of the guy with the grocery cart and that monstrous vehicle! I giggled at that bit! ;D ;D Smallest guy/Biggest car. Perfect!!
The news seemed short to me, but the show was packed. James' shirt did grow on me by the end of the show. The only part I haven't seen is the SIARPC. I've never much cared for Alice Cooper and those strawberry shortcakes don't make themselves! ;D I'll probably watch it later.
I'm with you, Antonia. I was praying so hard for the mini to win. I didn't boo out loud, but I was screaming it in my head.
James was having so much fun in those minis! ;D It was great to see that enthusiasm from him. ;D
I loved the end of the Jag film. The spitfires were beautiful! ;D ;D
All in all a hit out of the park! ;D

Crap! I forgot about the strawberries in my fridge! Thanks for the reminder DMC.
I'm not really an Alice Cooper fan either...mostly I just liked Detroit not being talked about as a hive of scum and villainy. Always a nice surprise, that.
