Apparently James was interviewed on the Today programme on Radio 4 this morning. Anyone know the details?

James May talking fashion on R4!? That's not news. That's not even whimsy.

Only on r4Today would they call James May cool without irony

PS Does James May have to be the BBCs commentator on everything?

I had no idea that brown shoes were such a controversy in England. The only shoe rules I can think of here are no white after labor day and no flip-flops at the White House. My husband worked at the capital many moons ago and there were Representatives that wore cowboy boots with suits.

I'm not sure, but would love to know as well. Maybe there's a streaming audio "recorder" of some sort that would work? (I don't know much about this sort of thing, obviously. :
