I may have growled a little when Ben came on. *hangs head* and not in a good way. But other than the treacherous little weasel the episode was awwwwwesoooome!

Really enjoyed tonights episode and really want that Lambo!!! I thought the electric car segment was quiet informative as well as entertaining. It showed the pitfalls that still exist around owning an electric as well the environmental perks; however I would have to cut the ‘chord’ of that bloody woman in the Nissan!! The cocking about whilst fuelling was funny and I look forward to the screen caps of James’ Tramp Stamp!!!! ;D Louis was a very reasonable STIRPC, what a cheery chap he is! Very moving film from Hammond to finish what has been a brilliant series. Good luck to those guys in Dakar, I hope they make it. My sunday nights are now bereft or entertainment.... what will i do

Very, very good end to the best series in at least a couple of years and possibly longer. Jeremy's feelings on the Nissan Leaf were very much in line with mine (see the 'On The Road' section for my thoughts on the Leaf) - and come to think of it, my 'will it work' question when they launched it two years ago was 'can you take it to the seaside', so thanks boys for checking that out And James's 'tramp stamp' was priceless! Actually, much as I like the Leaf, I'd much rather have the Aventador! Not really hung up on Hammond's criticism because it's the same as Jeremy's was of the original Gallardo - anyway, when a car looks that amazing and drives well, even if it isn't completely mental, it'll do for me. Put me in the mood to book myself a track day... Quite a fun SIARPC. Better than anticipated - but how can someone with a taste in music like that be responsible for the terrible things Louis Walsh has inflicted on us? The last film was entertaining and quite moving. Project Mobility is online at www.projectmobility4x4.org/ and on Twitter @projectmob4x4 if you want to follow their progress. I thought the whole thing was very nicely pitched and respectfully handled, and it was a fitting end to an excellent series. Oh, and if you want to support their cause, there are a number of fundraising items on eBay, and they also have a range of Landy spares in their eBay shop

I just read a comment on the website that Jeremy had a tumor in his bowel and hoped he was feeling all right. Anyone know anything about this ? The comment was made by #1Hammond Fan.

A strong last episode. I've enjoyed this series much more than the last few I have to say. Feels like they are back on track. The electric car piece was the usual good fun, but if the facts are true, also made a strong defence against going for plug in cars at present. The last piece was fantastic and very moving. Shocked to see "Jilly Cooper" walking up the hill! How did that come about? Maybe that is why Hammond made the piece and not Jeremy, who on paper was the more likely presenter being a patron for Help for Heroes. Jezza would probably have run him over. Louise Walsh was fine, but as it's already been said, how can you like such good music and produce such rubbish? What's this about a tumour?

not sure - but whenever there is an unflattering, side-on, photo of him and his stomach, he has said it is a tumour (in a humourous way!)

All I can find on google is he made a comment he had a tumour in his bowel which needed removing like Chris Evans..... but there's a suggestion it's another of his ill advised jokes.

I found an article about it here www.express.co.uk/posts/view/262194/Top-Gear-star-Jeremy-Clarkson-tumour-mysteryBy the sounds of things it was a mild prod at Chris Evans seeing as Its only hit the express. This is the quote from the article “Like Chris Evans, doctors recently found a tumour in my bowel which needs removing. Unlike Chris Evans, I can’t find a hole in my diary to have anything done about it.” I dont think he would put something THAT serious out there without it being some form of a joke. Especially with the amount of tension around him at the moment such as the cotswolds (sp? ) circle thingy which I havent been following or the other Allegations which I will not delve further into. I think if he did have a tumour it would hit the big newspapers and would be on the news etc especially with it being such a delicate issue. Just the express trying to pick on poor Jezza again......I hope

Electrified roads?! Oi May, you know full well that was my idea! I came up with it a couple of years ago. Good episode, and great series all round. Thumbs up from me! ;D Re. Jeremy, he wrote the following in his column in The Sun on Saturday:- Like Chris Evans, doctors recently found a tumour in my bowel which needs removing. Unlike Chris Evans, I can't find a hole in my diary to have anything done about it.I don't really know what to make of it, to be honest. Oops, I was beaten to it!

There was an article in The Mirror in which a spokesman said it was a joke relating to people 'talking out of their bottoms' but it seems to have disappeared. The link leads to a cached version. If it's a joke, it is a bit ill-advised, but it's better than the alternative.

Apologies for the double post... Electrified roads?! Oi May, you know full well that was my idea! I came up with it a couple of years ago. I remembered that when I was watching! Between my 'but can you take the family to the seaside in it?' clause in my original thread on the Nissan Leaf and your electrified roads theory, it's all sounding very familiar - Top Gear, we know you've been lurking in here ;D ;D ;D (however, my description of the Leaf as 'A Car' is purely coincidental; they drove it long before I did. It is very nice though.)

Both my parents died of cancer and I had to take care of them. I don't find it offensive that he was speaking about himself. If he had said something about the cancer society it would be different. I think he's thinking more about moving the recycling center behind his house! The Daily Mail has an article about that.

Electrified roads would cut down jaywalking anyway.
Somebody who works in a neighbouring building to my office has a Leaf. Before that he had a Prius, which is very eco of him, or it would be if his wife didn't drive a BMW X5. I suppose the two cancel each other out.

Just thought I'd mention that in the after show video with James and Jezza, they talk about pirating the show in the U.S. and they mentioned the state of Wisconsin. Last week Jezza said hi to Minnesota.Anybody here from MN?

I know you live in WI and I was going to put something to the effect of "but we do have someone for WI" but I didn't want you to get the wrong idea. Jeremy mentioned Bob Seger and only one person claimed to know who he was. Lansing, MI anyone! Also he has my favorite song "Night Moves". I thought it was a great episode. I got some tips on where to go in Lincoln too! Off to watch Top Gear US that has two pawn guys as guests, only in the US of A.

I live in WI now, but I grew up less than ten miles from Ann Arbor, which is where Bob is actually from. My husband's from Lansing. Being from Michigan, I am kind of boggled that people would not know who Bob Seger is. I did get tickets when he went on tour in 2006, but that was a difficult feat. The opening show at Van Andel Arena sold out within seconds. The show I did get tickets to sold out within minutes. Ok, back on topic, my husband just paused this episode on a spot I may need a screencap of later.
