James is going to be on a programme called "From Home to Air" to be aired in September.I think flying a PMDG 737NGX, found this on AVSM.

The only bits mentioned were on a blog board.Somebody recons he'll be good as he already has a license I think this one is a full commercial one but I know nowt about planes.

Nor me, though I'd know the difference between a spitfire and a Boeing 747, that's about it. As for finding more, all I find is the odd Air Marshall, think I'll give up for the mo.

James did mention in one of his programmes that he was going to fly a passenger aeroplane, perhaps this is what he was refering to.

Brilliant news. If I read the article correctly there is going to be a new series called "From Home" and the first episode is "James May Virtually Takes To The Skies."
I wonder if the rest of the series involves James as well or whether it involves another celebrity each episode undertaking something new and challenging.

This might have been the reason why James was spotted at the RIAF a few weeks back now. Fairford International Air Show, many tweets had been posted
