That was a good interview however at the end Simon should have asked about when Man Lab starts instead of Top Gear. A plus for me was The Boss. I liked James' remark about draw the wine bottle after it was emptied.

I thought it was interesting when he mentioned the subject drawing, to know that he has already received the ones I sent him... ;D What was interesting as well, is that he said he's reasonably good at many things, whereas he envies people that are very good at one thing. I've always been saying the same thing! ;D

James was on Radio 5 Live just now. Only managed to catch the last few minutes myself. Let's hope there will be a podcast. :-)

No sign (sound) of him on Steve Lamacq so far. Perhaps he didn't walk down the BBC corridor far enough and ended up at Radio 5 instead of Radio 6!

First rule of not looking like a prat - always check your facts. I shall be listening tomorrow.
There is a podcast on Richard Bacon's website of the interview, which was apparently done down the line. However I'll probably wait to see if anyone uploads just James' bit.

Just listened to James on the Radio 6 programme with Steve Lamacq. It was a good interview. Steve helped them out with selecting the band for Man Lab, so knew what the programme was all about. I hope someone will be able to upload it. Edit: you can listen to it hear. James comes on the show after about 90 minutes. www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b01694mq

Thanks for the link. That interview made me laugh out loud..."we have a cup of tea and a lie down". Yeah, as if. I'm picturing TVs randomly flying through the air at an alarming rate. ;D Well, if James needs a sax player for his band, he knows where to look!

Then with Jeremy on the drums making the most noise! The track they played of Love Fungus after the interview was pretty decent. Did anyone hear the Travelling Willburys' song before the interview. It wasn't them obviously, anyone know who?
