Who ya gonna call?? No seriously, aren't there people who investigate such things? Could be really interesting. I have no view on ghosts one way or the other, but I do have an open mind. Keep us posted!

Definitely interesting happenings, antonia. Something to make you go hmmmm... ;D
I had a similar experience, but it ended up being something that was personal to me. I live in a town where I have no relatives, nor have any of my relatives ever lived here. A few years ago, I was standing in our bathroom brushing my teeth before bed. From our bathroom you can see into the kitchen. Our bedroom is on one side of the kitchen and the living room on the other. So you could see someone going from the living room, crossing the kitchen and going towards the bedroom. I hope that made sense. Anyway, I kept seeing someone out of the corner of my eye cross the kitchen floor. At first I thought it was a trick of the light or MOH going from one room to the other. This happened several nights in a row. Then one night I was facing the kitchen while in the bathroom and saw MOH walk across to the bedroom. Seconds later after I turned to face the sink, I saw someone pass through the kitchen going towards the living room in my peripheral vision. Again I thought it was MOH. Just a few seconds later MOH came out of the bedroom and into the bathroom. He couldn't have gone into the living room just seconds before. I was a bit freaked and kept an eye on the kitchen for the next few nights when I would be in brushing my teeth. Every night for four nights, I saw a man pass through my kitchen wearing an old slouching felt hat. He was in a plaid flannel shirt that seemed almost colorless and work pants. The one physical feature I noticed was his hands. I can't really describe what it was about them, but they just seemed to stand out in my mind. After the fourth night, I never saw him again, until a month later when my mother was visiting. She brought me down some family photos to add to my genealogy file. The man who had been walking through my kitchen for a week or more was the man in one of the pictures. He was my great-grandfather. There he was wearing the old slouching felt hat, plaid flannel shirt and work pants. At first I thought I must have seen the picture before and just conjured him up in my mind, but my mother told me an aunt had recently found the photos in her house and wanted to pass them along.
So why was my great-grandfather wandering through my kitchen and why did he stop?

He knew he had been found. Maybe giving clues as to he might be.Spirits do that I believe. I do believe in spirits and premonitions. Maybe he was introducing him self to you.

This isn't really spooky, but it was certainly weird when it happened. (I'm going to change the actual names, but you get the idea.) I had a dream one night that I was in labour and I gave birth to a son, who I named Matthew. In the dream I was also aware that I'd also had a daughter, Carly, who had previously passed away. The very next day I had to attend a training session for work. Guess what the trainer's name was. Carly Matthews. I'd never met her nor heard her name before. I didn't realise until I got home that day.

I don't have anything spooky going on , but I do have a sixth sense where death is concerned ( I could really do without this really.) It has happened to me four times, each time a family member. The first time I was on a visit to York, and something told me itwas really important to get an earlier train back, soon after I returned home, my Grandmother died. Two other times I was in my home town, but still got the same sense of urgency to be home. The last time it happened we were in Florida and there was a great sense of urgency to see all we were going to see and do all the major things we wanted to do early on because we wouldn't get to the end of the holiday, and sure enough, we didn't my, mother in law died.

I seem to have that sixth sense about death also. When I was 20 I was living in Maryland with my Aunt and cousin. The phone rang and when I answered they hung up. Thought it was a wrong number but mentioned to my cousin that I thought one of my brothers had died. The phone rang again and it was my parents telling me my older brother had died in a car accident south of Socorro. I thought it was my other brother but still. I felt when my uncle died in 1999. I saved my son from himself just in time to get him to the hospital. The problem is it becomes a problem. I worry constantly about my brother who's 53 and doesn't need it and try desperately not to worry about my son or I'd have a massive ulcer. Of course with my son there's tons of backstory. Oddly enough if I don't talk to him on a daily basis he calls me. He called me every day on my trip. I know twins are supposed to have a very strong link. My daughter in law is a twin but she doesn't even know or care where her twin is. Lots of drama to do with her twin evidently. Anybody have that deja vu (don't know how to do the accents on the keyboard)feelin?

Just say out loud that you are aware of their presence and tell them that you do not want them to switch on the tv, etc.
After my sister died I was driving home from a friend's house and looked in the rear view mirror to see my sister sat on the back seat. She smiled at me then vanished. I always knew she was with me as she used to make the clock in the car start rolling through the time and year. Didn't matter how many times it went into the garage to be checked there was never a fault. I think it is comforting to know she is with me. I have my dad with me now as well :-)

;D I like spooks. Well, I ought to. I was born here - www.crcmh.com/Easily one of the spookiest places around. Scoff as you will at some of the things on that website, but I tell you, a lot of it probably is true. I did a few visits to the site in the early years of the new millennium, and it was a wonderfully scary place. And I kid you not, I genuinely do believe it was haunted - one time I went there on my own, and while I was prowling round part of the inside of the building, I climbed down a small ladder that made a helluva noise as I climbed down. Less than a minute later, while in the next room, i heard the exact same noise coming from behind me. Being worried that I might be being followed by a security guard (there were random checks on the place done by a security team) I hid myself in a cupboard in the corner of the room, and waited there a good 20 minutes. I heard no other noises at all....nothing to suggest that somebody was following me through the rooms. Just that squeaky ladder noise. Then I had an orb moment walking down one of the long corridors (over half a mile long, so a very long corridor) I got an urge to turn around. A little way behind me, there was - it was like the effect you get when a beam of sunlight is shining down and there's dust in the air, is the best way I can describe it. But it was a cloudy day and I was inside, nowhere near any windows or doors. I did a mental and kept walking, but I turned around again about a minute later, and the shiny stuff was still behind me, and about the same distance away from me that it had been before, like it had followed me down the corridor. That's when I legged it ;D

My Dad spoke to me. I was driving home, my dad had been in hospital for a little over a week, there was nothing to be done and we knew it was just a matter of time. As I was approaching the hospital, i thought ... I'll pop in and see dad. At that moment the padestrian controlled traffic lights turned red, I stopped, looked around, no one (and I mean no-one )was about, and it is an open space, no where to hide. I looked at my in-car clock - 4.30pm, at that moment I heard my Dads voice saying - don't worry about me, i'm okay now, go home, you're needed at home. The lights went green, on auto pilot I drove home. Got through the door just as the hospital was on the phone to my Mum saying dad had passed away at 4.30pm. We still say our family are slightly psychic Loosley related to Doris Stokes on my grandmothers side.

I seem to be the only one that has never had a spokky experience ;D Maybe because Im far from believing any of it. I also think it's weird... well, look: That you can hear someone that has just died, hmm, well, I dont believe it, but I won't say it's impossible. Yet seeing someone in clothes and stuff and, well, with the looks they had, just how they were, that's just not possible. I don't want to offend anybody, it's just how I see things. IF it's possible to notice someone that has died is close to you, in my opinion you can't see it - you'll only feel their energy that's left. I mean, how is it possible to see someone in the shape of how they used to be??! When you die, your spirit leaves your body and the spirit is just some sort of energy, it doesn't have the shape of anybody, let alone it can come back as clothes...! ;D

I completely understand were your coming from Nat.I'm more the appliance of science than people coming back.I think of it as an imprint that people left behind somehow. This is probably why this is so weird because there are no reasons behind it. number 1) The tv going on. Easy nextdoors remote can somehow turn our tv on. Problem with this theory is the tv was turned off at the wall not just left on standby. number 2)Tap on in the morning. Might have left it on the night before without realising or faulty washer/tap. Had nextdoor look at tap and washer is not worn and the tap works fine.Doesn't even trickle. Thats why I posted on here.I can't explain stuff away for once. I have never experieced it, so I don't think I'll ever believe it's spirits of people but a disturbance in a cable or so, but then.... what you're saying now is kind'a weird yea. Also, looking forward to seeing James on a ghost hunt ;D

Thought I'd fill you in on the weirdness in Crazy Towers.Nope they haven't stopped happening but I now no not to call James in a strange situation. We've now had a double turning on of taps in the kitchen. Going out of a room then returning minutes later to find my arranged cushions on the couch all put on the small two seater couch. And finally my unplugged running machine running while we were in bed. Not that worried but I wish it would stop disturbing my sleep. Have you asked he/she/them to stop? Can't hurt to ask.

Haha! I love ghost stuff. I can watch a ghostly/scary/slasher movie(i.e. SAW) and go right to sleep without nightmares.
I have seen a ghost, I am not kidding. It was right down in the gully of my property when I was walking a past dog I owned.
I got up one day and knew my grandma had died without anyone telling me. That's about it for my experiences.

Wow, it really sounds like there is something in your house, Antonia.. I do believe in such things The summer my grandad passed away, we were at his house a week or two after the funeral (we always used to be there 1-2 weeks each summer when he was alive). The last evening we were barbecuing outside together with my uncle and cousins, and I was inside because I was sad and didn't want to leave. I was sitting in the sofa in the livingroom, looking out of the window behind me when I suddenly felt that I wasn't alone in the room. I was the only one inside the house, I could see the others sitting outside from the window. The presence I felt came from the armchair beside the sofa, which was the place my grandad always was sitting. I am certain that it was him sitting there, like he always used to do. I can't describe it, but I just know it was him.. When I think about it, I've never felt comfortable in that house. There's always this strange feeling. When I was smaller, I never wanted to be alone in a room, I always followed my mom around. I have never been like that at home. Then suddenly, my mom says that she have had this strange feeling in that house too..! (She started the conversation, I didn't say anything) And she has been living there the most of her life before she met my dad. I really think there is something there..

I can recommend the TV show A Haunting on Discovery or Travel channel, Ghost Hunters (Grant is leaving the team!), or Haunted Hotels. Try looking them up on youtube.
