Lovely trees and piccies - I especially like the bubble wrap one. Now why would I be laughing at that? ;DI don't have a tree this year, for a few reasons. It didn't bother me until seeing this thread and also the festive atmosphere around about (e.g. Christmas lights on houses). This year, people have taken to putting reindeer antlers and big red noses on their cars, which I've never seen before. Some friends on Facebook have been bagging them out, but I think they look cute! Our weather forecast for Christmas Day has been downgraded to 30 degrees, humid, showers with possible thunderstorms. No point in praying for snow here.

Aah, I was wondering what that icon meant earlier today! I didn't try it though, since I was in the middle of a song I really like and didn't want to interrupt it

Finally! We was out in the forest and found a perfect tree today! Then I used a lot of time decorating it, and I think I'm quite satisfied with it And you can see Monsi behind the tree, looking for something to play with And here's one of my favourite decorations ( I have NO idea what the english word for it is! Christmas tree ball, or something maybe..? ) I have always loved Donald Duck, and I remember having these balls as favourites when I was a small girl Good memories!

LOL @ Pie for it being 30 degrees so no chance on any snow. ;D Do you like warm Christmasses or would you prefer a cold, snowy one? Aeromanda, jeez Are you doing okay tho? Not too nervous? I just wanted to say to everybody PLEASE consider the animals, KNOW what you're eating. This planet prefers you to eat vegetarian, but if you somehow don't want that, don't go for the cheapest turkey - for then you know it's been threated very badly and I know there's people here who have pets and who love animals, so Im sure you don't want animals to be treated badly.

I just wanted to wish everyone on the board a very, very merry Christmas. I joined at the beginning of the year and have spent most of my time just lurking, but I've become very familiar with what a warm and friendly group of people you are -- one I'm proud to be a part of ;D Although I may not post much, trust that I am cheering and commiserating with everyone's ups and downs in spirit, and not a day goes by that I don't see something on this board to make me smile or feel just a little bit better (or filthier, which is also good in my book...) May the holidays bring you excesses of all the best kinds, and here's to more filth in 2012! ;D PS: thanks to DMC's post, I'm now getting a wicked bubble-wrap craving. This can't end well...

I've got a personal policy of not being online much for Christmas, something I'm trying to get my husband to join me in, so a big Merry Christmas to everyone here. I've had a great past year getting to know and socialize(well in a manner of speaking) with everyone over here, and this place has saved the few remaining scraps of sanity I have left at times. I may post a picture of my tree tomorrow. I like to take a picture before we rip the presents open.

LOL @ Pie for it being 30 degrees so no chance on any snow. ;D Do you like warm Christmasses or would you prefer a cold, snowy one? I'd like to see snow at Christmas at least once in my lifetime - I imagine it would really add to the occasion. It's funny to think that what us Aussies consider to be typical Christmas weather would actually be weird to most of the Western world, but I don't mind it because it's what I've always known. Lovely trees and lights everyone. I didn't know that Finnish elves have long hair. ;D (Very cute!) Only 1.5 hours to go until midnight. I'm staying up because I want to see Santa. A pint of LP and a steak & ale pie currently adorn the kitchen table. I don't like my chances, somehow. ;D Thanks for posting, that was a great read. I liked the comment at the end as well. The amount of information in James's head still astonishes me (unless what he writes about is actually complete b*ll*cks and I'm so dumb I don't even realise it ;D).
