At lesser speeds driving around town, I thought the car shifted more smoothly by letting off the throttle a tad. I believe this type of transmission is designed to perform best under near full-throttle...I know you can rip through the gears with the Ferrari's F1 tranny without lifting. The other factor is that every manufacturer has their own computer system that fine-tunes what the driver can and can't do to the car. And yes, this is a V8 Vantage S coupe. |
