At breakfast this morning I just said the word 'Turing' to the Man and he launched forth with a full and detailed talk on his, life, work and significance of what he did, ( this all came off the top of his head - no reference books, google etc.) So when he had finished I drew the conclusion that Alan Turing was a very important man. Apart from his work (including the invention of the comtuter,) he seems to have had a fairly sad life which resulted in suicide.
I can see why James would find him interesring.

The big blue button with an arrow on it is the 'Play Button', aeromanda. Just click on it.  Thanks slfriend but when I get the page there isn't a big blue button with an arrow on it. I wonder if this has something to do with the filter thingy my husband put on my computer after I got a virus on it.  I will have to try to remember to ask him when he gets home. |
