I'm pretty sure that it's Jeremy. Apart from the fact that that timing is right and it shows his (rather childish) sense of humour, he also mentions Rowland French who is the executive Producer of Top Gear Live. Earlier the account (@jcrclarksonesq, and his full name is Jeremy Charles Robert Clarkson) carried this pic of James  |

I've followed him on several other accounts he sets up and uses for a short time. Definitely seems to be him. The tweets go back to March 17 and isn't that when he mentioned in his Sun Column that I don't have access to that he joined Twitter? The last one I followed had tweets from January.

Thinking about it, mixing Jezza and Twitter could be a recipe for disaster. This is Clarkson with an unrestricted, instant public medium, an audience of thousands, probably a lot of drink and no editor.

Jezza's tweeted his daughter and talked about his son. I also follow Stephen Fry. He tweets a lot. Pretty interesting stuff. I've only tweeted 4 times and one was to James on his bday. I use a different user name but then my real name. Plum pictures likes to follow everyone and for some reason Alan Titschmarsh follows me.

Eh, I don't think it'll be much of a problem. Jeremy made a comment about P. Morgan and you know Piers Morgan could have been the bigger man and ignored Jezza altogether but he just wants the attention. I know of the animosity but Jeremy's not one to let things die a quiet death, i.e. slapping a dead horse. It's just how he is.
