I have simple tastes - texts and pictures! So the better the camera the better! I don't talk much, I don't play games, I don't do much Internet - but being a bloke, I like a good gadget! Everyone and his/her dog has an i-phone so I don't want to just follow the crowd if I can avoid it! Any suggestions? Ta!

You will talk lots, you will play games, you will use the internet...and you'll have a good gadget. And you'll wonder how you ever lived without one. Give in to it. ;D

I have a HTC desire Z and very pleased with it. My boyfriend has an HTC as well, don't remember the model but he has no intention to change phone in the near future. So I can recomend HTC.

I'm a long time Blackberry owner and fan, and it pains me to say that I wouldn't get another one. Too little support to resolve bugs in their OS. I'll be interested to see the results of this poll because I'm thinking of switching to an iPhone.

I never wanted an iPhone as I liked my nice basic phone that was simple. I got the tech loving OH an iPhone to replace his personal organiser thingy as it was very old and the battery kept dying. The idea was he could use it as a diary, have reminders and music on it. It worked better than expected with him and he loved it, I also kept pinching it to text people asit wax way quicker than the old number pad texting. I managed to work it with no instructions etc and even my mother and OH's brother have used them without asking how to do stuff. I now am a sheep and have an I phone too, but they are quite useful.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S 4 G. I have had it for going on a year now and I really like it. I'm not the most tech savvy person and I find this phone pretty easy to use. My husband has on as well and he is a very tech savvy person (he's a software engineer). He likes his too. I would recommend one or whatever the newest version of this one is.

Go to BIG Tesco at Belmont!!!! You can get contract phones "capped" That's what I did... it's class!
Mine, however, is rubbish at photos but was £7.50 a month for
- 5000 texts a month - unlimited internet - 200mins talk
So pretty cheap They have loads of offers, and the network seems ok (as in Tesco) Just ask "the phone dude" as to what's best in a proper phone shop - then go there to buy one!
Think of the clubcard points!!! See.... (sorry) Every Little Helps!

Hubby has just got a Samsumg Galaxy through work, I quite like it. Thinking of getting one myself which is a big decision for me as I have always had Nokia phones since my first mobile too many years ago to mention. So getting a different make is a big step for me. I like that the Galaxy seems easy to use and I like that you can download tv / movies on to it free.

I love my I phone and all I really use it for us texting and having it as an iPod. However the camera is rubbish, especially if you try and take indoor pics. My contract finishes next year but I am not upgrading as O2 will drop the monthly payments down by 20 quid for the same package.
Looks like the battle is between Galaxy and Apple.

I have found an offer with GiffGaff they do a sim card that gets you unlimited web,300 free call time and something else.
I asked the guy in the Apple shop about an iphone and he recomended the Galaxy 2,the Galaxy 3 is out now but at just on £700 I think thats a bit steep.

I am torn - Samsung Galaxy S2 - or go for the more expensive but waaaaaaaaay more gadgety S3. Or HTC one X?
Also torn between T-Mobile and Vodafofe!
I have been with T-Mobile for 20 years (I have had the same number all this time too). I have 2 phones and a dongle on my account. Monthly bill is £80 - £100. My contract is up on the 10th June, and when I went in to chat about possible new phones, they werent interested - come back on the 10th June and we will talk to you then! The cheek! Vodafone however - very keen to have my business when the time comes! And - they do F1 and McLaren competitons!
Its a good job they are opposite each other in Durham. I won't have to walk very far to do my negotiating in a few weeks time!
