Good Lord, this makes me miserable. Selling it on ebay *headshake* At least I get to see my Big Fred (the tarantula) one more time before he disappears off to who knows where. Damn, if I only had somewhere to put it, I'd buy it. I really would.

So would I. I love that garden.

I'm glad it's being sold 'as is' rather than broken up, but it's sad to see it on eBay. I'd buy it in a heartbeat if I had a home for it

With a bit of Google-fu and the knowledge of local authorities that comes from working in public sector finance, I've a sneaking suspicion that that garden may be off to East Staffordshire, looking at the name of the winning bidder (Procurement_ESBC).
Glad to see that it appears to have gone to another organisation, though £47 is a bit disappointing - though it's so big and awkward that I suppose it was never going to raise a fortune!

Procurement_ESBC were the seller, not the buyer...

Ah. Was obviously not paying attention. But I'm tempted to email them and ask where it went...

Well, if it's going whole and will kept on display, I'm happy with that I had a horrible vision (given the cheap-as-chips start price) of it going to a playgroup to be pulled to bits and re-used. I know the Lego house was completely destroyed, but someone could rebuild it if they had the time - there would have been plans for it. The garden would never be the same if somebody tried again from the start to make it - far too much individuality went into each piece of it.
