Thank you, you lovely people! I did wonder if my big 4-0 was going to be a bit flat because I only moved to Wales and started a new job two weeks ago, but I've had a wonderful day My new team made sure I had a really special day - when I arrived at my office, my desk was covered in glittery table scatter, shiny ribbons and birthday cards, and there was a big box of chocolates and a hot cup of tea waiting for me too. And later in the morning, one of the managers brought me a lovely chocolate birthday cake! So I've been thoroughly spoilt after all ;D |

My Naughty Forties definitely started well ;D
When I think of how my last birthday went - my favourite auntie being buried and me having some thoroughly unpleasant medical tests that left me wondering if I'd even make it to 40 (all clear, thank goodness, but not the kind of thing I appreciated the doctor bringing up on my birthday), this one has definitely been MUCH better!
