I'm a bit sad that it's the second of August, and nobody posted the new thread yesterday. However! I shall post it today and we can pretend that yesterday didn't happen *g*
I have exactly 35 days until I go to Cardiff for Ponycon. I am counting the days! If you could see the size of the list of things I have to complete before I leave, you'd understand why I'm counting LOL It's a huge list, and it terrifies me.

Have just got back from a few days in Lincoln (beautiful city - well worth a visit.)We went for a cup on tea on Steep Hill, that's the place James and Jeremy had their cuppa while waiting for their electric cars to charge.

It's my first night of five at work this week. I only got three weeks left this summer, and it actually feels a bit sad. I do like my job even if it could be hard from time to time. At least I have school to look forward to.  |

I'm looking at a house next week. It has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. Buying? Renting? Buying we're currently renting a 3 bedroom apartment so for me it's a big step to look at a house |

Afternoon, people. Just snatching a few minutes in the office while I'm by myself, although the work computer is having a mild fit of the vapours, so my typing looks about three inches high.
Still caring for my mother at the mo, so lacking a regular internet connection ...and time! To be honest, this situation is not going to last much longer, for all the usual, miserable reasons.
Nice to catch up though!

Blackpool Illuminations are being switched on later this evening, so it must be autumn already (well nearly) - where on earth did the year go? I have to say that it's been a pretty good one up here in the normally frozen north, with lots of sunshine and high temperatures, but good lord, nearly September? That feels all wrong.
