Well, it'll be out on DVD in November and I guess I can figure out the cost of posting it to Aus/NZ/USA, wherever. I'm not sure how easy it'll be to convert to NTSC for USA (though I expect there's a setting somewhere...), but I think Aus uses PAL, the same as us don't they?

Yes, PAL. Cool, I shall order one at the appropriate time.

Mayfayre, let us know when it's out and where we can get copies. I'm sure quite a few of us will be interested.

It'll be available for UK orders from the 22nd November through the website Wot Gear but it may take a few days longer to figure out how to set it up for postage abroad and make a NTSC version. At the moment my priority is having a finished product to show at the Premiere! We're very nearly there...

Well, the editing is finished now, all that remains to be done is persuade the videos they want to to go onto a DVD! Then an awful lot of burning of DVDs and packing them up in covers...

The first dozen DVDs are now off the press and in their boxes! Hurrah! Just in time for the Premiere on Friday

The Premiere was fab! I think we were all a bit nervous beforehand but once people started arriving (and the complimentary sparkling drinks started flowing), everything was a bit more relaxed. And people actually liked it! Everyone went away with smiles on their faces, and quite a few had DVDs under their arms too Mayfayre deserves a medal for all the work she's put into this project, and for organising last night and making sure everything actually happened. I have to admit there were times when I couldn't quite believe it was happening, but it did and I still have a big stupid grin on my face. Not quite sure what to do with myself now. Last night was ace though - I want to do it again! (Just not quite yet...)

Yes, it was a very successful night And what's more, the DVD can now be orderd via the website! Order PageIt's only set up for UK postage at the moment, so message me, or e-mail through the link on the website, and I'll figure out how much it'll be if you want it shipping abroad. I'll also investigate NTSC format for anyone who wants it to be sent to USA.

We had tickets to Top Gear yesterday so took the opportunity to give James a copy of the Wot Gear / Grime Team DVD. "That's me, isn't it!" There are a few more photos here. The only spoiler for Sunday is which shirt James is wearing!

James was just *so* lovely yesterday <3 He was really relaxed and seemed quite amused by the whole thing. As if yesterday wasn't fab enough anyway, that just about made my day!

It was a lovely day. The only rain shower we saw passed neatly around the airfield and missed us completely It was very nice to be able to give James the DVD in person. We had sent one via his agent but it doesn't seem to have got through I have found this with the Grime Team DVDs in the past - sending them to the Time Team Production Office didn't seem to gat them to the members of the Team, fortunately I cam contact most of them via other means but that's not so easy with the TG3.

I wonder if the agent or production offices don't open and watch or pass along unsolicited material like DVDs to James or other on-air talent to protect themselves from legal action. Then no one can claim they were ripped off and some program the on-air talent, agent, production company or any of their employees etc. is involved in the future was their idea

That wasn't the case with Time Team - I think the production office people just nicked them! If it is with the TG3, then I'll be very disappointed. I'd be chuffed to bits if they nicked one of my ideas!
