Since Vixen had to post her Hello in the September thread, I realized we've been remiss for a couple of months and decided to start the December thread slightly early. I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving, for those of you that celebrate it. I dug out my Christmas decorations this morning and am looking through cookie recipes.  Can one of the admins pin this, please? |

Hope everyone had a good and restful Christmas Day and Boxing Day. Today has been one of absolute nothingness, and much enjoyed it was too. I think I've eaten my own weight in snacky bits and chockies. Bloke has spent much of the day compiling and sending a folder of 50 photos of his time here to his folks in the States. It's already blowing a real gale here - the Fylde Coast is noted for them at the best of times. Apparently it's supposed to be at its worst tomorrow at midday, so all I can say is that I rather expect the house to lift off like Dorothy's in 'The Wizard Of Oz'! I rather like this pic; the theme has been been kitties and Christmas lights this season in our house....  (Not one of my kitties but pretty nonetheless) |
