That was a brilliant episode - while the silly studio stunts aren't my kind of thing, the films were such pure celebrations of the cars that there was some silliness needed for the viewers who prefer their Top Gear a bit more daft. I think they've been trying much harder to actually find a balance this series when it comes to that kind of thing. And funnily enough, I've always wanted them to have someone who was a complete novice drive the Reasonably Priced Car. Jack Whitehall always makes me laugh, and the sound of that Touring Disco Volante made my insides go all funny. Lovely stuff.

This episode seemed to match the cars with the exception of the more powerful Caterham to the personalities of the guys. First time I've seen James get dirt or something in his eye since it seems to be Jezza that is attacked. Very interesting cars. That Disco Volante was beautiful. I can't help but mention Jezza's letter into Madame Tussaud's. Richard's reaction reminded me of the Bolivia episode when he ate the cocoa leaves for altitude sickness, couldn't stop talking. I really loved this episode but being easy to please I've loved all of them. I had to imdb Jack Whitehall. Maybe now he'll take real driving lessons. Quite a funny guy.

I really enjoyed this episode - it reminds me of those older "golden" episodes. However, could be less of the silly studio stunts. Brilliant :-)

I was really entertained by this one, and I didn't have a problem with the pizza stunt as a) it was very brief and b) I saw it in Top Gear Live at the NEC a couple of years ago so I knew it was going to be pretty silly. I enjoyed all the car review segments and I think I'm in love with the Disco Volante.

Oh my god - James does a lot of shouty-shouts in the Caterham. I'm still purring with bliss from that, I must say. Also he brought out The Bandana. Also-also, the puce trousers. Must have developed mind-reading powers and has been raiding my dirtier thoughts. That tease!
The Madame Tussad's joint-rant shared by Richard and James was one of the best Inmates Running The Ward moments in quite a while. They had some cold wit going on, and Jeremy just rolling about and laughing over their insults was such a great sport. He really loves a pisstake at his own expense. I swear, he cherishes it.
And he got his little dose of joy with the Disco Volante - what a gorgeous bit of tin-bending! I got just a bit of why some girls get the fizzies for Jez when he was doing his Otis Redding impression. Hmmm, there is something in that growl.
Jack Whitehall's driving-lessons-by-fire was quite possibly my favorite SIARPC moment since...oh...I don't even know. That was the most original SIARPC outing to date, I'm sure. Not that his Toilet Yoga story sucked at all, because that was some funny, funny sh*t.
And Richard the little hoon in the big G-wagon. Bless! I particularly liked his line about having a plane crash in a car.

I liked getting a James segment right at the start of the show. Poor James getting a bug in his eye twice in the Caterham before putting a helmet and goggles on. I'm surprised he didn't end up swallowing one while shouting over the car noise. I'm surprised one is still allowed to ride without a helmet in a car like that.I always amazed I rarely see any of them wearing gloves while driving in an open car in cold weather Surprised to see James recycle an outfit 3 episode later, at least wear the shirt with a different pair of jeans maybe some dark denim. Richard "matured" and looks like he's been buying jackets from the middle-aged country squire-gentleman farmer collection I learned Disco Volante means flying saucer in Italian it's a beautiful car, Jeremy's "love" face makes him look like a sweet sad dog Jeremy's announcement during the news was the best part of the segment. I like when they get on a roll having a go at each other.I can't wait to see Madame Tussauds wax Jeremy, I think all three should be immortalized Richard's hot sausage I had seen Jack Whitehall only on Graham Norton before this,I had to look him up to see if he'd done anything else I might have seen. He was very funny and entertaining

A curse on this touchscreen! I accidentally gave this epi a "1" when it was supposed to be a "9". Hangs head in shame.
