Thank you. Sorry I wasn't in at the time, but it has been a bit busy! GCSE time at school - but waaaaaaaaaaaaaay more importantly - I now have a James in my life!
Eldest son and his wife have had a baby boy, James! 6lb 9oz. All doing well!
It would appear I am a grandfather! The only problem with that is - grandparents are old biddies, and that is just not right!

Congrats and congrats, flatin5th! You now need to think up a really cool name for your grandson to use so that any thought of 'old biddies' doesn't enter into it. I know a number of grandparents who wouldn't for a moment allow their grandkids to call them 'granny' or 'grandad' but have managed to think up alternatives that please everybody without making the GPs feel ancient!
