Studio recording location for the brand new Amazon Prime series The Grand Tour is confirmed: Clarkson, Hammond and May will be taking their tent to Whitby in October. Apply for a pair of tickets to join them on their grand tour for a once in a lifetime experience.

Amazon.co.uk customers can apply from 09:00 BST on 29 September, 2016 until 23:59 BST on 30 September, 2016.

To apply for a pair of tickets to the recording please complete the form below. The audience requirements differ for every show and location and audience participation is key during the live studio recording. Our tickets fulfillment company, Applause Store, may follow up with a few questions about yourself and your thoughts about the show.

Please note that both Amazon and Applause Store will use the email address and/or the phone number associated with your amazon.co.uk account to contact you.

Successful applicants will receive an email from Applause Store confirming their place on The Grand Tour tent guest list.

Keep your eye on your inbox, e-mails regarding the ticket request follow up phone call have been sent out
Be sure to answer your phone, calls for the Southern California filming came from an Unknown number on caller ID
Be enthusiastic tell them your love of the show during the questioning
They are looking for an audience of half men and half women, they definitely want women at the filming

Well, I gather from Twitter that tickets have been issued - and I haven't got any. Might not be true of course, but my sources on there seem pretty sure.

Oh no that's too bad. Jeremy has made some mention of the GT tent going to Scotland so you might be able to get tickets for that

Episode 3 of The Grand Tour: Opera Arts and Donuts is released this Friday 2nd December on Amazon Prime. Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May pitch their tent in the English coastal town of Whitby. Jeremy drives an Aston Martin DB11 and James a Rolls-Royce Dawn, as they set off for a gentleman's tour of Italy, until a noisy and unwelcome guest arrives.
