James May popped by the talkRADIO studio to talk about The Grand Tour.
He ended up being interviewed by both Paul Ross and Jon Holmes live during the Full Set Breakfast show. The presenter told our two presenters how he was "quietly confident" the show would be a success.
He said: "A part of me is always nervous about making TV because I don't want to make a mess of it.
"But I was always quietly confident that we would be okay. We already knew there was a certain number of people who liked us.
"The odds were good."
Fun fact: we established that Jon is, in fact, shorter than Richard Hammond.
