After another torturous wait, Top Gear finally returns to our screens in June. Clarkson, The Hamster, Captain Slow and the Stig will be back doing what they do best...and occasionally talking about and testing new cars.
Speaking exclusively to ZOO, executive producer Andy Wilman revealed the hit BBC show is aiming for even bigger stars behind the wheel of the reasonably priced car this series - and they've got James Bond in their sights!
"We want Daniel Craig. He filmed at Dunsfold before Casino Royale came out, so he knows his way around. We've also been really close to Tom Cruise - he's an engine nut"
But the Hollywood A-listers don't stop there, reckons Wilman. "We also want Nicolas Cage, Russell Crowe, Eric Bana. All the big guns!"
Wilman - credited with turning Top Gear into the hit ratings sensation it now is - also let slip that Clarkson has his very own wishlist, headed by everyone's favourite counter terrorist agent. "Jeremy wants Kiefer Sutherland becuase he's a 24 freak."
But there's one celeb they may have trouble securing. "We really want Prince William" says Wilman. "The future King in our reasonably priced car? You couldn't beat that!"
