Ohh I would like to go to that. Is Cheltenham far from London? I wonder if I would get to meet Richard? Thanks for posting Lymaze.

I met up with some HHers at the back of the marquee where the talk was . We then waited and were moved over to queue. Whilst we waited it was HOT and we were 'entertained' by a guy on stilts. We saw Rich arrive and go into the town hall to get ready, he reappeared and then disappeared and then made his way into the marquee/tent/ We were then moved in and into our seats, 2nd row and there was a Triumph motorbike on the stage. Richard and another chap was introduced by a mad scientist in a suit. Rich was wearing a white shirt with a pale blue pattern on and jeans and cowboy boots. The talk began and Rich explained different aspects of the car and how it worked. He then got the audience to 'guess' horsepowers, from the book. Not so good if you had the book and could shout out the answers . Richard mounted the bike and revved it up and did an impression of a spark and bang. He answered lots of questions about cars, TG and which car was his favourite and he said 'the one with his wife, girls and dogs in,' big awwwwww. There was an experiment involving watermelons, one with an empty lager can on and the other a aluminium block and they demostrated that it is safer to walk around with an empty can taped to your head incase of an accident. The signing was very busy and the queue was massive! He signed everyone's books and photos were taken. He was even able to take some right at the end, whilst most of the HHers waited behind. He was every bit as lovely as I imagined and it would be lovely to meet him again without it being such a rush or it being quite so warm. I won't add anything else until the others are back, I'm off to cool off and recover from meeting the Driving God.

This is the best from the 5 pics I took, I didn't take my 'big' camera and my little one died on me

There are more reports on HH and other things I missed out, including a prank on Paul McKenna when he was on and other interesting questions which were asked.
