Ok folks I've done some practices and have come up with settings for banners if they're being used in a sig
height no more than 150 pixels
width no more than 700 pixles
hope that helps, also the above one is free if anyone wants to use it.

when making the banner it should ask you what width and height you want it to be and then give you a template in that size I've been playing with www.mybannercreator.comYou won't be able to change the signature size on the board you have to use those settings when you're creating the banner |

My Boyfriend helped me with this avatar. I hope this one is ok I got it from Photobucket. If there is a prob with it please let me know & I will change it. I am trying to figure out how to get the size I want for my signiture pics.

I have now made a signiture to go with my Avatar. Thanks to everybody for help. I now know how to do a signiture & avatar. Its rather technical this stuff. lol

Hi just tried to modify profile and add an avatar (actually at it all evening and I thought i'd had a hard day at work. Don't know if it will work and even if it does someone is probably already using the piccy. Posting this to see if anything comes up. If it doesn't I will have to leave it until tomorrow, bacause as we say up herre 'my heid's mnce'!!!

Hi lew don't know what i'm doing wrong. I have downloaded image from the maytrix to photobucket and then cut and pasted url on to the modify profile board (I think!!!) but big blank space where piccy should be. Any suggestions?

Sure Go into your 'profile' click on Modify Profile which is next to the Member's Bio - Modify Profile - Bookmarks section and scroll down until you find your signature section. You need a host, and www.tinypic.com is a great one. Upload your sig there, and copy and paste the [*img] URL HERE [*/img] tags. |
