Can we just ask that members make their signatures a little shorter or not too large height wise as it takes up a lot of space and also if they are too wide, they do tend to throw the page width out and so you have to scroll across to read stuff. Thank you. Ly Just a reminder on this. There are a couple of members who have lovely signature pics but they're too wide for people who use lower screen resolutions to be able to see the entire width of the board at once. If you have a very wide/large signature pic, please reduce it so it fits the board. Thank you |

Actually, what would be useful would be a guideline maximum size, like we have for photos (not that we worry about it too much these days). I think 600px is about as wide as you can go without distorting the thread, but it might need a bit of experimenting.

Question: How do you do multiple quotes on one page? I have given up trying to figure this out and would appreciate any help. There are times that I want to respond to more than one poster, but I just am at a loss.

What I do is I hit the 'Quote' button for the 1st person and when the screen comes up with there quote I copy it. Then I go back to the page, hit the 'Quote' button for the other person and paste the first persons quote above it. Then I post my comments for that person under their quote. |

But in fairness their admins didn't have much of a sense of humor, unlike you guys! Really, just cos you're a bit OTT  dicks,  Being OTT is not a ban able offense on here, mad as dit said we are. Wished that was the only problem we've had over time, can think of a few, and frankly they are of the scary kind Not that there's been any thanks.....long story |
