I think we are all agreed that our lads are addictive and I was just thinking to myself 'Wow, I would really like to see James do 'Who do you think you are' like Jez did'
Thing is, Richard too. The question: what shows do you want to see the boys do?

The question: what shows do you want to see the boys do? I'd like to see them do that show properly, NOT like Jez did with the "Who's got my jars?" approach! Perhps James could persue the "Where did all my talent come from?" line.

^ But surely M, James starring in 'Where did my talent come from?' would call for an entire series?! I would also like to see any of them, maybe all of them, do Loose Women. I think theyd be eaten alive...

I would like them all to do travel programmes. They could do a country, driving the cars manufactured or the most populars ones in each place, and do one of their hour long "documentaries" whilst reviewing holiday areas/distinations.
I'd also like Jeremy to continue with his brilliant documentaries. He's overlooked where these are concerned and it shows a very different side to him.

I feel that in the post Top Gear period - let's face it, that day will come - Richard is most likely to stay on television a lot and do things like quizshows and other general entertainment programmes. I wouldn't be surprised if James would concentrate more on his writing and if he did do things for televison it would be more science series like 20th century. Didn't he once say his ambition was to be the new Raymon Baxter? Jezza, I honestly don't know. I hope for more of his documentaries, but I can also see him retire at an early age and getting out of the spotlight.

I think it likely that James will do more science/technology programmes.
I would absolutely love him to do a massive series covering the history of music, from prehistory to the present. I think he would have ability to make the subject entertaining and accessible to those who haven't encountered much classical music.
I would also like him to present an idiot's guide to green technologies. This does seem to be up his street (despite Top Gear ;D).

Wonder if Tomorrows World will make a come back with James on the helm

I just had a very bad thought about Jezza doing a future series of "House of Tiny Tearaways" but that's probably a very bad idea. Though in some ways, not that far removed from working on TG...
Anyway, more sensible suggestions. I'd love to see Richard doing something in the "Long Way Down" vein, getting to play with motorbikes rather than cars and going somewhere interesting or challenging in the process. Otherwise, I can see him doing something like a grown-up version of "Go With Noakes" or "Duncan Dares" (god, that ages me)... but sillier and a bit more post-watershed ;D
James I really can see doing something more science based and that would be cool. Although an alternative idea that might be fun would be for him to obtain something mechanical that was very broken and over the course of, say, 6 weeks, him and Colin (as he's not camera-shy and they have a great dynamic, judging from the stories James tells) have to get it running again.
More documentaries from Jeremy too! Again, I've had a slightly odd idea, but I think it might work. He could do a sort of "where the railways went wrong" and base it around the GWR. That way he could travel the London-Penzance route and pick up on Brunel's vision, looking at the architecture and engineering, see some sights along the way (there would have to be a programme dedicated to Bristol, for example, because it is so Brunel-rich) and seriously look at how Brunel's pioneering vision got distorted until we ended up with the mess we have now.

Farming with Jeremy. I think it would get a record audience. He could teach us about chickens, growing special crops for birds, recycling, how to compost all your food down for your chickens, humane ways of killing Mr Fox whilst a little drunk. ;D

It is indeed my idea, and I really don't know why on Earth I didn't think of it before! I reckon he'd be fantastic on a show like that, and I'd love to see a modern version of it. For those who are unfamiliar with Face The Music, check out the Wikipedia entry here; you'll see what I mean... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Face_the_Music_(TV_series)

I'd like James to do a series on World Wars 1 & 2. Focusing on the allies involvement etc. Might be boring for most but I would enjoy it.

James on Nevermind the buzzcocks, Richard on the F-Word (the other two have done it so why not him?) and Jeremy can go on Strictly come dancing and be hilarious.

I've just seen this for the first time and I really love all the entries. You all have some great ideas. Let's see:
I like the idea of James doing something like Connections as well, since he's got alot of the same mannerisms and scientific/history interests as James Burke, who is also one of my all time heroes. He's also got Michael Palin's sense of humour too, so travel documentaries (like he said on the Simon Mayo show) might be a good idea too. I like alot of your other ideas and agree with them too, since they all sound like things I could picture him in and working with.
Richard would be great in Fear Factor, stunt shows, extreme adventure type travel shows, and I really can't wait to see his version of Wipe Out when it comes out. I think he could be as funny commenting on it as Craig Charles (another crush of mine) does for Takeshi's Castle. I also think he'd do great with Mythbuster/Scrapheap Challenge type shows too.
Jeremy - I love his documentaries so much. If he ever gets tired of doing TG, I think he should do more. He's already come up with good ones that I love watching over and over. I'd love to see him do more. I'd be more than happy to see them.
