I loved it when they went really old when they went to the motor museum. I laughed so much when Jeremy was reading the translated instructions and than later on he got a bit panicky and yelled 'Pull back the crowbar of embriage!!!' That is one of my favourate Jeremy phrases ever.

I love my cars and have done since I was very young. I'm drawn to the more aesthetic side to them as my knowledge of the technology is downright appauling (all important stuff get's pushed out of my brain by glittery things!). I adore the McLaren SLR. Can't put my finger on why, I just do! I nearly got run over by one a few months back....probably the highlight of my year!

I really like fast, stylish supercars. Not the Pagani Zonda F Roadster. It's pretty ugly to me

My fave car on the series was "Oliver".
My fave dream car is the Veyron. (It makes me go all wobbly in the knees just to look at it.)
My current car is a Cadillac CTS named "Oliver" that I would never have even test driven if it weren't for Jeremy and which I never would have been able to afford if it weren't for James. I bought a gently-used one for the price of a used Nissan.
It's a joy to drive. Poweeeeeeeer!

The Mercedes 300SL Gullwing has been, is, and will always be my favorite car despite whatever James said. The DB5 is a close second.

The Jag XJR is my fave. I love that one. My dream car is the Jag XJS. My midlife crisis cars would be the Dodge Challenger and the Mustang Shelby. Those two are so much like the 1965 Mustang and Dodge Charger that I covetted when I was a small girl and still want.

Mojo I know what you mean about the Challenger and the Mustang. I've been eyeing them. Then I drove a Mustang and came to the horrible realization time had passed me by. It wasn't a Shelby but a standard. My "mature frame" (aka "old bones") wasn't at all happy with the prospect of using it as a daily driver. Perhaps our "inner girls" will be able to have 'stangs as 2nd cars. Vroom Vroom!

Sat in a Caddy CTS-V at a car show this weekend(2'14'09) also saw an Aston DB9. Love 'em both. *fondly dreaming* -j

I got to have a really good look at a CTS (sadly not a CTS-V) when I was working on an assignment last term. I was looking into integrated control systems (like iDrive) and I have to admit, I really liked the one in the CTS even though I wasn't hugely enamoured of the car. Unfortunately for the Caddy, they also had a new Corvette in the showroom and I absolutely love Corvettes, so you can imagine where my attention was when it should have been on the job at hand. Have to say though, the guy in the showroom bent over backwards to give me the information I needed.
