Tickets for Cashback

Richard's pilot of new 'entertainment show' 'Cashback' is recording on 10th May at BBC TV Centre at 7pm. I have spare tickets if anyone would like to go - I'm otherwise engaged that evening. Drop me a line if you'd like a ticket or two - I've put the same message on HH and my LJ so it's first come first served!

*nods* I wondered about that too. I suppose it's possible he's flying out at a different time, but if I were him I'd not want to miss out - I think I'd much rather be in Japan than in BBC TV Centre!!

I was given a ticket to this show by a friend of mine. Here is a small report.
I arrived there very early at 3.50. There was a queue already but it turns out that it was for I'd do anything, so I sat in the main foyer of the BBC & read Richards book while I waited for my friend who was having problems with engineering works. she arrived an hour later. we joined the queue. there were a few people there already. we were given a pink wrist band with a number on. somehow we were in the 300's even though there were about 30 or so in front of us. when we went in we were given a sticker with our name on which we had to wear. They called a lot of people in with blue wrist bands & we thought we were on standby as it took so long before we were finally seated. most of the people in the studio were already seated. at the very front were two rows of sofas & we were sent there & sat on the second row which was nice. We had a great & close view of Richard. He looked very smart in his grey suit & white open neck shirt. I herd that Mindy was there but I never saw her. The show I think was Really good. I really enjoyed it. I believe its a new lottery programme they are trying out. People are basically being reunited with money from pensions & things they didnt know they had. & they made a guy who had over eight thousand pounds chip his check out of ice. another person Had to search around their house for the money with clues which Richard gave out to a lady who they surprised in her home. another lady was surprised in a supermarket by connie. that lady & her husband was next to me on the sofa. It was a very entertaining show. Me & my friend waited outside for Richard. There were a few people from HH there I spoke to one nice lady. We didnt see Richard leave as it was starting to get late & had to get home.

Here is my report from Cashback


I arrived there about 5pm after trouble with the tubes and there were a few people there already. I met up with Tina(starfish)

We then gave our names to a bloke named Martin and then we were given a pink wrist band with a number on. somehow we were in the 300's even though there were about 30 or so in front of us. We were then lead over to some people who gave us name badges to wear. I had my pic done next to the Tardis but didn't come out very well. There were loads of doctor who stuff in the doctor who shot. They called people for I'd do anything and a few people were on standby but luckily got in.

They called a lot of people in with blue wrist bands & we thought we were on standby as it took so long before we were finally seated. most of the people in the studio were already seated. When finally got to the studio, the bloke asked how many and we said two and he lead us down to two rows of sofa's right at the front of the audience. We were about a couple of meters away from where Richard and konnie were.

He looked very smart in his grey suit & white open neck shirt. I herd that Mindy was there but I never saw her. The warm up guy came up and spoke to all of us and made us laugh, then Richard and Konnie came out and talk to us. He looked soooooo gorgeous. Just before it started someone made a joke about hamster as the wheels looked like hamster wheels. Also the warm up guys mentioned Top gear and Richard said "It's rubbish" from the wing.

The show was about cashback owed to people and one bloke had £62,000 owed to him. Also someone in Cafe £32,000 was own. We then waited outside for Richard but we had to leave for home as it's late.
