Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson and Pirates of the Caribbean heart-throb Johnny Depp top a list of dream front seat passengers.
Jeremy Clarkson is the passenger of choice for men, while Edward Scissorhands star Johnny Depp is the women’s preference.
The top ten passengers for women consists solely of men with Johnny Depp finishing ahead of George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Robbie Williams and Billy Connolly in the top five with Jeremy Clarkson seventh.
The Top Gear host pipped Kylie Minogue and Angelina Jolie to be the male’s choice of passenger with Stephen Fry and Elvis Pressley making up the top five.
However, as with most love-hate polls, controversial motormouth Clarkson divides opinion – he’s also one of the least popular passenger for men, coming sixth, behind the likes of Gordon Brown, Tony Blair and George Bush.
Former Prime Minister Tony Blair completed the double to be named worst passenger for men and women finishing ahead of Victoria Beckham, Gordon Brown, Jade Goody and Paris Hilton in the women’s poll.
The survey by women’s car insurer Diamond also found men and women would both opt for an Aston Martin as the car of choice with females also admiring Porsches and Audis while men prefer Ferraris and Audis.
And the dream route for Mr Clarkson and Depp to be driven on in the Aston Martin is the famous Route 66 in the USA.
Our man Adrian Higgins is driving Route 66 later this Spring and will be reporting on his road trip so don’t forget to come back for all his updates on his stateside journey.
