This is as close as I'm going to get to a report because my brain is still genuinely not functioning at all.
I remember approaching the table, Carrie666 basically had to push me I was so terrified. He looked up and said hello to me and I handed him my book to be signed.
He signed my name (AHAHAHAHA!!!!)
Lew's pic with James (though just the James part) was also in the book. I was getting it signed for Spud as I promised I would. I had it folded inside the book and as he was signing the book to me he asked "What's this?"
"Yeah, if you could sign that it would be brilliant. It's for my friend who couldn't be here because she's in Scotland."
(I know, wasn't that my most coherent sentence ever!)
"What is it? It's not a really embarrassing photo of me is it?"
"No!"
He then took it out and, well if you look at the pictures you can see the reaction. I was close enough to actually hear the "Oh God" when he did see it. I felt like such a berk!
He was lovely about it.
Then he handed me the picture saying "My hand is very sore now" and I'm fairly certain I said I'm sorry. If I didn't I genuinely meant to because I did feel bad making the poor man sign extra for me, he was lovely about it though and very generous to have signed it.
I took the piece of paper off him and stood for a second or so while he was resting his arm on my book, then I kind of leant forward and said "That's kind of mine too..."
"Oh, yes it is" and he slid the book across the table to me.
I thanked him (or atleast I hope I did, I was very nervous and this is all a blur) and walked away from the table.
I walked round to where XJ and MF were and hid behind a column and crouched down silently squeeing.
Oh and at Bluewater, though I didn't speak to him I did take a tonne of photo's which now live in the members photos thread.
Also I wasn't brave enough to do it myself and so I gave a copy of the board anthem to the guy on the door to pass on. Yup I'm that much of a scardy cat. Just hope it gives him a bit of a laugh.
It was a genuinely brilliant day and James was an absolute gent through out and I am now more in love with him than before
