It's 180 minutes and can't find anything that says extra features, easter eggs: very few details, in fact. Full page ad in Top Gear mag.

I agree shazzy, got mine today and not watched all just two episodes, it's James's passion and it shows, science and technology, my boys go to a science and technology college (school ) and love it, trouble is try a find a teacher with the same passion .....Mr May if you ever get sacked, there's a job awaiting for you here .....I know, I'm a school governor at their school and also at another one for my sins

Well I believe if you teach something you love you can engage a nation or in my mind a class of school kids ...as I said, May come and visit....actually Fords were so good in this area ( not far from the Dagenham plant), sadly as your all aware they are having a few problems, so we are letting our youth disappear though our fingers

Just thinking... do you think it was fair of Dave to show the whole series just before it was released on DVD? It would be ok if it 'whetted peoples' appetite', but what if everyone had chosen to record it instead?

I'm still puzzling over how the episode on Dave the other night with the caravan challenge had a different bit in it from other times I've watched it on that channel?? Surely when they edit it for tv, it would be the same every time they showed it, it's not as if they put the ad breaks in a different place, and this time edited out a different bit, leaving that bit in?? (if you understand what I mean? )

I'll have to order a copy in a few months, along with the book of the same title, second wine adventure, and Magnificent Machines. I'll try to be patient.

My husband actually wanted to watch this with me. He goes, "I like James' shows alot and think he's really cool." My father thinks so too. Even though he was playing video games the whole time, we both enjoyed it alot again.

I would really like to get this DVD. My son says that one of our DVD players will play the format, but I hate to order it then find out that it won't. I was reading Lew's comments up there about science teachers and agree completely!. I started out as one, but as my husband's businesss grew I had to quit to devote time to monitoring it. My son was really lucky to have a wonderful science teacher for both grades 5 and 6. She was the wife of the director of our planetarium so she was very enthusiastic about astronomy as is my son. She encouraged my son so much, then for grade 7 he had a teacher that was putting in time before retirement . He butted heads with his next science teacher because she knew what he was capable of and pushed him really hard, but now he appreciates her, after just 3 years, lol. ;D
