Just in here for a quick peek, I must say (with relief) that this week promises to be not so heavy on the Jezza lust for me as last week.. ;D He's still the only one able to make me laugh before breakfast, though...

Nothing cures the Jezza lust for long, Heartabam. And I should know, I've tried. ;D On the other hand, I must confess I'm still a novice in the world of Clarkson love.

A bear hug from the man would perhaps be either suffocating and overwhelming or overwhelming and extremely comforting... Which would it be?

Hmmm...im gonna have to say at the moment...or at least for the past few days Mr C has come on leaps and bounds over james. It pains me to admit it...but am willing to swallow my pride. Now if only i had the balls to say it outside these walls

Anyhoo Im gonna go for overwhelming and comforting. And possibly choking...Im only a couple of inches shorter than him (if im right in thinking he's 6'5 ) and judging by a similar hug of someone of similar height their shoulder goes right into my throat....

Armpits, indeed. Shower is good. Masculine smell is nice, but in moderation...

The NC also has soft cushions on the floor should you be incapacitated due to any thoughts about showers...

This pic is of some ladies doing a 103-mile trek across the South Downs for the charity Help for Heroes who just happened to bump into a certain Mr Clarkson, who was filming in the area.

The ladies are also walking for Hounds for Heroes, which is another awesome charity. Their remit is to raise funds for assistance dogs for injured veterans, which is brilliant. Here's the story on their website. Inspiring stuff

There is a picture of him in the Daily Mail today sitting at a cafe reading the paper and smoking a cigarette. He seems somewhat down. Why is it the papers always bring up whatever happened in the past few months, to sell papers of course. He seems like a nice enough person without people knocking him for his private life. I am vehemently against others judging things that are no one's business but their own. Maybe I'm a hypocrite for reading the article! I don't know how to download the picture, so if someone else knows how?

I don't think he looks particularly down - he just looks like someone having a day off, having a coffee and reading the paper. Personally, I look like a sack of old washing on my days off. It's also quite hard to smile when you're lighting a cigarette (the cig in the photo is unsmoked). It's the spin they choose to put on these articles. What's nice is that the comments on that article are overwhelmingly supportive, and people are telling the Mail to back off.

I'd prefer to keep the whole subject of press speculation of the Clarksons' private life off the board though - I know we're disgusted with the tabloid press, but we generally prefer to concentrate on the happy

Most of the media doesn't care what the circumstances are of any situation. They print whatever ideas they have and call it fact.

I didn't actually read the article. I'm inundated enough with the private lives of the 'famous' when I go through the check-out line. Most of which, I've never heard of. Who married, who divorced, who adopted and so on. I so don't want to know! Wish the media would give us interesting stories instead of what they view as sensationalism.
